Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kingsville

Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

I feel very much at home when I stay here. There is nothing I need as the host provides it all to ensure a nice stay. I will always stay here when I’m in the area because there’s honestly no better place.

My husband and I loved our time visiting family at the Rock House. The home is beautifully decorated, closed to shops and restaurants. I felt right at home. The master bed was extremely comfy. This home was probably the most well stocked home I’ve visited. My wife also loved all the nature around. Truly a beautiful stay at the “Rock House”, we will be back soon.

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure everything was perfect for my visit. The location was convenient,

comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, large park next door (great our dog), walking distance to a brewery & a coffee shop.

Great host. Really responsive. all necessities there. Great location. Easy to get to the east side and the west side and Pontiac and Downtown Detroit.

This is a great house for a group of friends. The pool and garage, specifically the sauna, were fantastic amenities. We enjoyed our stay. We felt safe inside and around the house.

We had family in Amherstburg and a hospital in Windsor we traveled between. This location was perfect. We traveled with a pet and there were good walking paths less than 5 minutes away near Golfview Road. Views of the river allowed us to see some boats right from the home, and great views of the river during commutes and neighborhood walking. Groundskeep was a kind gentleman who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety during snowstorm and icy melts - thank you!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Amherstburg. Convenient location, responsive host and lots of fun in the pool. We hope to be back soon!

Great location to downtown Kingsville and the wine trail. The house has everything you need and is very quiet.Would stay here again and recommend to others.

We’ve rented Glenda’s place a handful of times for a baseball team sleepover and birthday party’s. There’s so much to do, the place is clean, the location is great with a large yard and space to be together. Glenda updates the home and works with your needs.

As you can likely see from the pictures, this place is very unique. You will definitely not get bored. Everything is clean and approachable, Greg is an excellent host who is always quick to respond and very friendly. Close to local shops/restaurants and minutes away from the US border. Check it out!

I would stay with Vik anywhere he chooses to have a rental. It was a pleasure to connect with such a pleasant host. The kingsville area could keep us coming back for years. The wineries are world class and the restaurants know how to make you feel like a king, while also have a small town vibe. Highest of recommendations

House is cute and clean. Beds comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. All the appliances we used worked perfectly. My only problem I came across was the steps leading to the back yard are very small, since it’s an older updated home. It was hard for me and my dogs to go up and down them , especially with snow on the ground. I had to take the dogs into the house via the front door since they were afraid to use the small steps in the back.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We liked the attached garage in which we could park our cars. The kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee cups and coffee and other plates and utensils. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The three bedrooms were large. We liked having 2 and half bathrooms. Having a gas fireplace to warm up the living was a very nice extra feature. It was a very nice quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Walkable to downtown Clawson and lots of great restaurants. We really enjoyed Sabbath Coffee, Barbs Pasties and Pizza, and noble Fish to name a few! The house is right next door to the parking lot of a busy restaurant which was very exciting for our dogs- good to know if you’re bringing pups. Molly was a fantastic host- super responsive and helpful with the few minor issues that came up during our stay. My husband and I were both working remotely so experienced a few slow times with internet but nothing major! We enjoyed having the ability to do laundry at the house. Would definitely stay again, thanks so much for having us!

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.
