lovely little place. Well kitted out all latest high tech mod cons! All was peaceful, quiet and private and suited me well for work in the area. Did not have opportunity to try the local pub - but hopefully next time. lovely friendly hosts too.

Christopher’s place was absolutely perfect for our family seaside getaway! The place was exactly as pictured and was exceptionally clean & modern. The house has been done up to a very high standard. We were 2 families of 4 and we had enough room. Chris was responsive and allowed early check in which was very kind. Local area does not have much else apart from seaside activities but that didn’t bother us. Thank you for a lovely stay

We had 4 fabulous nights at the lodge and it was warm, cosy and comfortable. The lodge had everything you need and a great location to get in to the centre of York or to the local beaches. Highly recommend Sarah as a host who was always available and nothing was too much trouble. Our daughter particularly liked the large box of Lego and the books that were on offer. Great location, great accommodation and a great holiday.

Beautiful and quiet setting. Perfect place for a night or a weekend away. Well equipped inside with everything you need and more! Quick and easy check in and check out. We will definitely be back!

Amanda is a lovely host, and her place right at the waters edge is perfect for a lovely wildlife motivated stay. The place is warm and cosy, with plenty of information about how to use the facilities, and about the local area. The wild fowl around the reserve are a joy to interact with and Amandas own guinea fowl are hilarious. This is a perfect place for those who appreciate the water, the wildlife, and the great views of the Humber bridge.

Morgan Cottage is an exquisite, beautifully appointed cottage in tranquil, picturesque surroundings. From the moment I booked, the communication and facilities were flawless. Attention to detail 10 out of 10….and I’m not the easiest to please. We soaked in the spotlessly clean hot tub under the stars and cooking in the well equipped kitchen and rested in the comfiest bed ever! Simon and Lynne also personalised our stay recognising our birthdays and the personal events that were the reason for our holiday. Thank you from each member of our family of 5 and 2 dogs….we made precious memories to last a lifetime. Erica and family 😀

A lovely place, full of shabby chic character but with all the mod-cons nicely integrated. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of months in a lovely rural village (the 3 pubs within walking distance were lovely). Lovely host, lovely neighbors and pretty faultless tbh. Would heartily recommend! Thanks for your help John and hopefully be there again soon!

We had an absolutely great weekend at Seashells. As a three-generation family group, the house was perfect for us. Diane was very responsive and helpful. Before we even left we booked to go again next year! Great for families - location, layout, amenities, comfort!
