Stunning thatched cottage found down a private driveway. Picture perfect. Photos don’t quite capture how lovely it all is. Loved the thoughtful touches for us and the dog. Sara’s enormous garden was fantastic for the dog to play in - she loved the stream! A very comfortable and restful stay in a gorgeous corner of Devon. Thank you Sara.

Thank you Rebecca for a lovely restful stay - my second return this year so it must be good!! As before, it's a lovely sanctuary , cosy & so peaceful with the birdsong and countryside around. Especially so now the nights are drawing in. Lots to do & see locally too and thank you for the warm welcome an kindness. Everything perfect :)

This place is idyllic. I had a cookery day at The River Cottage and it was a 10 min drive, so very convenient. The room was delightful. Having access to the gardens was a bonus, and the views over the hills are beautiful. The place is calm and peaceful. Perfect if you need an escape from a busy life Marieanne is extremely friendly, helpful and made me feel very much as ease. It is a great location with easy access to the coast. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

The flat was lovely and spacious with lots of light. Everything was in very good condition and appeared newly refurbished. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and made cooking a pleasure. I took my elderly mother and it was perfect for her as it is all on one level and very uncluttered so it was easy for her to use her walking frame. Kate left us some delicious homemade shortbread. The beds were very comfortable. It is only a few minutes drive into Lyme Regis and close to other tourist attractions. We found the sitting area very relaxing and Kate had provided a good selection of DVDs. There is a nice little outside patio area but the weather wasn’t really warm enough for us to enjoy it. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.
