Childwall Cottage is a beautiful retreat in a beautiful setting. Very cute and homely with amazing space. Breakfast supplies are a lovely touch, heating on when you arrive and you immediately feel relaxed. I love it here and will definitely be back again.

The cottage was as described if not even better than imagined. Private,welcoming and comfortable. It’s modern while retaining a homely feel, so great effort has been put in to it. We visited in winter and it was lovely and warm. The kitchen is excellent, one of the best we have used, so ideal if you wish to cater for yourself. The woods are ideal for a walk (which is a 3.7km loop, so you won’t get lost!). Esther was an ideal host who was helpful and responsive. Overall a great location for exploring Co Kilkenny and the south east in general.

such , a nice , clean , stylish , cosy apartment, it had everything you could want , loads of stuff for breakfast even and the care basket Anne left for us when we arrived was so thoughtful...10/10 ...100% recommend to everyone...we will be back 😀

We were looking for a quiet, rural place where we could base ourselves for a few days exploring. The Stables ticked all the boxes for us: peaceful, modern, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a wee break. And the home bakes were definitely a hit! When we managed to lock ourselves out by mistake Joe and Breda were on hand to let us back in (so sorry!). A lovely place, great value and we would definitely recommend.
