a beautiful stay at Dee and Nana's place. The cottage is situated in a compound with 4 other cottages and a block of apartments, but it feels very private and spacious. there is a fabulous pool that is just deep enough for relaxing in the sun and the compound is directly on the beach. we were there at new year, which is very hot on the coast, but the cottage is well ventilated and has lots of fans to keep you cool. small kitchen is very well-equipped to cook meals and there are lots of comfy sofas for chilling. taxi driver recommendation was great and we enjoyed the little touches :)

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!

Great experience at Le Pleiadi. The rooms are spacious and the pool is splendid. Proper value for money. Would certainly recommend. Will be back.

We had an AMAZING time. The house is right on the beach with private access and a nice sized garden space. The house itself was really homely and had everything we needed without being over fussy. We all loved the snorkelling and beach vibe and the kids loved the small pool on the veranda. The staff were great and so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this house.

This is a lovely house on the beach just next to Treehouse Watamu. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly, and the house has lots of spots to relax and hangout. It also has a nice pool, good mosquito nets and lots of fans. The ocean is a 3 minute walk and this particular stretch of beach is peaceful, empty and hassle free. The house has two good sized double rooms with a bunkbed (double down, single up) in a small corridor. It fit our family of five perfectly. Will definitely be back.

The hosts are very friendly and kind. They made sure that we settled in well. We had a dedicated chef and housekeeping. There is also a SPA in the compound; if you are looking for a 3 bedroom apartment with en-suite bathrooms in a quiet area, very central, this is the right place to stay in Watamu. The supermarket is 10 minutes away. The beach is 10 min walking distance

Ahadi Villa is a gem! The place is better than the photos. My family had a wonderful time, we really enjoyed spending our holiday here. Thank you we hope to come again

Loved our stay at Mahine's place. We would definitely recommend! Timely response from Mahine in case of issues or requests. Beautiful scenery, access to the white sandy beach, several swimming pools to accommodate the many people who’ve chosen to stay there for the gem that the place is. The little ones are also well taken care of with the various baby pools and kids play and entertainment areas. Very family friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Moe’s place is exactly what we were looking for during our trip, a place just steps from the beach, sleeping to the beautiful sounds of the ocean. The swimming pools are another highlight, warm, salty and very clean water. The house is very cosy, beds are comdortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Even though the showers have no hot water, you definitely do not need the hot water as it is very hot weather. Amina came everyday to help clean up and was extremely friendly. John was also very accommodating with an earlier check in. The whole neighbourhood is just beautiful. If you are looking for a beachside house, this is for you, do not hesitate.

If you are looking for a peaceful place, private beach without beach boys, spacious etc..this is the place to be. We had a wonderfull stay in Ritchie's House. The house itself is wonderful, has a very beautiful garden and access to the beach. The service was excellent, and the chef was very professional and good as well. In short: we had an excellent stay at Ritchie's House. On top of that, all communication with Vivienne went extremely smooth. We felt warmly welcomed, even long before we even arrived. Vivienne is very responsive, and helped us with restaurant recommendations as well.

We were a family of 5; 2 adults and 3 kids aged 14 year old, 5 year old and a 2 year old. Charlottes place was amazing. We loved everything! The staff at the house make sure you are comfortable. They cleaned everyday and we had clean towels daily. The guard Suleiman, is great to book excursions if you need, a very friendly man. We hired a chef called Katana, whom Charlotte recommended. His food was fantastic, delicious and nutritious. Just let him know your preference like swahili dishes, or other dishes and he will make it. We had him make Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polly the manager, is at the site and she can help you if you have questions, she is very responsive and friendly. I recommend this place for families with small kids and teenagers. The pool is another gem in this house. Thank you Charlotte, we miss your house already ❤️

We had the most magical weekend at the Kamili Cottage. The interior, the garden, the food, the staff - everything was impeccable.

This villa is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with family and friends. Well positioned within the Medina Palms resort and with privacy and facilities that the smaller apartments do not have, I would definitely stay here again. Jacob was very easy to communicate with online and the staff at Medina Palms are excellent.

What an amazing house this is. The photos don’t do it justice. The outdoor areas and the swimming pool are fantastic. Cool, subtle, chic and very relaxing. If you’re staying then Albert (the chef) is a must include. He is very engaging when it comes to culinary options and it’s a real treat to be spoilt rotten by not having to cook or do the washing up. This took us a day or two to get used to! Katana was able to bring fresh fish and squid caught by his fisherman friends. His wife keeps the inside spic and span as you’d find in a hotel. We would love to come back and stay in this enchanting airy cool and semi-rural spot. We were all extremely sad to leave as the hospitality shown was second to none and we would love to come back some time soon! Thanks so much. Tom, Claire, Anne and Bea from the UK.

The space is exactly what you want for a beach getaway with friends - beautiful coastline and sea views off the back verandah. The staff are incredibly helpful yet unobtrusive, and being on Bofa Road means the rest of Kilifi is easily accessible. Highly recommended!
