Ben was very flexible with the check in times, allowed me to check in at 7 am well before the check-in time which I am thoroughly grateful and happy for. He was open and honest regarding some renovations in the vicinity of the premise, a good gesture that gave me a sense of calm. Nelly and Sulubu were warm and made it feel like a second home. The upper floor kitchen has an open plan, and a quaint dining area overlooking the pool, making for a nice place to have a meal and converse under the stars. For the discerning travellers and avid meditators, the beach is clean, isolated and very private, which gives it a very wild and natural feel. When the high tide comes in, you can vividly hear the ocean while you're inside. An experience like no other, from a host like no other. Grazie mille!!

Naomi's place was great, spacious, clean and tastefully furnished. It was exactly as described and fit our family of 5 perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. Plenty of sitting space, inside or outside on the balcony (with beach views and a nice breeze). Naomi was amazing. She had left us a welcome gift and card, came over to meet us the next day which was a nice touch. She made great recommendations for guides, rental car, and restaurants. She went over and beyond and was always responsive. When we had a plumbing issue, she sent a plumber to us immediately and the issue was resolved in minutes. Our only regret is we never got to walk on the beach as the community did not have direct access to a sandy beach when the tide is out and for us it was almost always out. I'll return to Naomi's place if I I'm in the area again.

Trinket is comfortable, clean and of course, nothing beats the front row beach experience!!! Thanks Ian and your team for a great visit, once again.

Great Airbnb with all the amenities you'd need, a beautiful pool & really great staff who helped with everything from groceries to turning on the generator in power outages. Will definitely be back!

We just had an exceptional 18-day stay at Doulm Palm Cottage. The house is perfect (very well equipped even for a baby, good bedding), the pool very nice and always clean thanks to Dan, the private access to a white sand beach is dreamy (deserted, only frequented by a few kite surfers). The staff is very attentive (Innocent is a wonderful cook, Maggie and Rehema maintain the house with a smile) daily). Go there without so much as a second thought! We'll go back for sure!

The house is gorgeous, the pool, the view and the Lamu house style is amazing! The staff was very kind to us and the chef’s cooking was delicious! The location is also very convenient, close to Garoda beach (10 minutes walk). Totally recommend it!

Our stay was incredible! Alma was very responsive throughout the entire stay. The home was beautiful! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best vacation!!! The bedrooms have AC and fans that kept us very comfortable. Chef Ziroh was phenomenal and cooked us the best foods and fresh seafood we’ve ever had!! Very well stocked home. The home and pool were cleaned everyday. I can’t say enough good things about the home and staff! It was fabulous all around!!

Really loved our stay there. Harriet is such a gracious host. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she was always available to answer any concerns and recommend areas to visit. But what stood out the most was the apartment itself. First of all the view is to die for. Then everything in the house was in pristine condition. Add that to its location near both the town and the beach. Did I say that she provided all amenities necessary. We will definitely be going back.

Our host Gianluca was very responsive and helpful before, during, and after our stay. The staff on ground - Wilson, Hilda and Kalama were polite and helpful. My family felt right at home!
