What an amazing getaway place! The watchtower is unique and cozy and in the middle of a nature sanctuary. You can watch zebra, antelope, wildebeest, and more, while lying in bed or sitting on the deck. There are many relaxing activities available (nature walks, horse riding, etc.) and we appreciated the peace and quiet of the place. The staff are warm and helpful. There's a restaurant on site, also a great spot to watch wildlife (e.g., hippos), where you can have healthy, tasty meals (I believe mainly locally-sourced and sustainably grown).

It's a wonderful place, my second visit was just as enjoyable as the first!

Mabati Mansion is a true gem. The house has been built and furnished with a lot of care and eye for detail. The furnishing is tasteful and homely. This kitchen is fully equipped. The house is spotless. The outdoor shower is amazing, The plunge pool is amazing. The house offers a lot of privacy. All in all the perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Highly recommended.
