This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside which is absolutely stunning. The house is extremely comfortable and has everything which is needed. It really feels like home from home. There are fantastic walks in the surrounding area and some lovely quaint villages. We have stayed in the house twice now and would definitely return. The only drawback for our family was that we would have preferred an enclosed garden space so the little ones could not venture far. But the outside seating area is lovely and nice to have when it is a lovely sunny day. Anyone who loves the peace and tranquillity of the countryside will absolutely love this place. If you want a bit more life there are various other places to visit not too far away. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A lovely little place to stay and escape for a few days! Had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated. Local area has good access for walks.

We loved our stay here and wish we'd have had longer. The house is surrounded by beautiful scenery - great for walks and bike rides. It was super peaceful, we loved hearing the birds in the morning. Inside was lovely - really comfy bed, well equipped and lots of nice little touches that just feel that your stay has been thought about - a torch, a shopping tote, big umbrella etc. Nice coffee and a caramel wafer too! So nice having heated towel rails and they'd put the heating on too ahead of our arrival so it was nice and cosy. Steve was very friendly when we checked in and went to the trouble to get the fire pit out for us and had good recommendations for food nearby. We just wish we'd have had longer to enjoy it and the local area.
