We love coming to Bute as a family and this was the first time at Marks place, once we parked up we were walking distance to everything so ideal location.

Great location with easy access straight of the ferry. Property accurately listed and Peter was very communicative and happy to assist. No issues with parking. Welcoming neighbourhood and generally dog friendly.

Wow! What a beautiful place, the photos don’t do this justice - the property has everything you need and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Although located off a track, you really are not far from the coast and beautiful walks from the property. Rothesay is only a few mins drive away, you don’t feel isolated. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

I've just returned from a week on the Isle of Bute, where I stayed at Ettrick Cottage. The accommodation is fantastic and really high quality with great views across Ettrick Bay. The hosts were very helpful with their communication prior to arrival and were very discrete. It was a wonderful stay in well appointed accommodation.
