Holiday houses in Kazuno

A cute and cozy cabin in the woods and a great base for hiking in the Hachimantai area. Bear in mind the air conditioner is only in the living room. If you give it time though it will cool down the entire house.

We'll definitely be back We had a wonderful time here. The host was very responsive and the home was cozy and well-equipped. A perfect getaway! One of the best Airbnb experiences we've had.

You get to have a spacious place with a reasonable price. The house is pretty well equipped and there is a big supermarket across the streets. The owner provided all the information we needed to know.

Clean, nice house, good location

It’s a large house with a big kitchen to work with. It is tidy and clean.

Our stay at Cottage Hideaway was wonderful! We were able to find the location easily, and Aki met us and helped us check in easily. The cabin was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were plenty warm even during snow storms with a combination of electric split systems, kerosene heaters, and a cozy fire place. The property was beautiful and huge! Our kids spent most of their time playing outside in the snow. Aki was great to work with. He was very proactive in providing recommendations for restaurants and ski resorts, checking on our needs, and even plowing the snow off the driveway every morning. We will remember our time in Aomori fondly.

Clean and comfortable bedrooms, small bathroom and common space as pictured, but fine for our brief stay in Aomori. We especially appreciated the parking out front.

We had the loveliest stay at Hal’s place. It was even nicer than what the photos show. Hal is the best host — super helpful and made us feel so welcome going out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. 15 minutes to the local ski fields and 7 mins to the supermarket. Thanks Hal, Ao and Kii! Can’t wait to come back.

Akiko and Ryohei were amazing hosts. On the night when we arrived we realised that my partner had left his passport in the taxi. Akiko called many of the taxi companies to find my partner’s passport, which was returned within the hour. This was an immediate display of Akiko’s hospitality and her willingness to ensure we had a positive trip. The house was beautiful, and the tatami room has recently been insulated which was very noticeable - the rooms were warm even in freezing conditions. The location is amazing for people wanting to get away from busy cities, and spend some time relaxing in the countryside. Ryohei’s sea chest is a beautiful sight to behold, he really is a master craftsman. Winter was a beautiful time to visit, and we will certainly be back in spring to see the garden and surrounding forests in full bloom. Overall a beautiful house, with beautiful hosts, in a beautiful part of Japan.

Very nice location for those who want to enjoy the nature

Alex's place is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. It is very well equipped, comfortable and warm even in the middle of winter. The private onsen was enjoyable after a hard day of snowboarding. Entering and exiting the driveway is a breeze, as it is kept ice and snow free with the ingenious use of running hot spring water.

Some small problems are resolved quickly, the house is very cozy, bright, everything is very new, that is the snow is a little thick, the road to drive in is a little narrow, if the heater on the 2nd floor would be better, I believe it would be more comfortable not snowy days.
