the location is superb in terms of views, tranquility and away from traffic and commotions. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the desired amenities as well. There was a spare room available which was used by the driver. The kitchen had most of the amenities but not much of stock in terms of food grains or eggs which you have to have beforehand. Kandy town is 14 km away. Otherwise it was a pleasant and refreshing stay. wish we had more days to spend here. Also the main bedroom has a breathtaking view. In short loved it. Had some trouble finding the place initially as the address given by Airbnb and that by the host separately did not match.

Herby was wonderful. I didn't realise they can organize everything from there like tutktuk, cultural dance tickets, tours and much more. It was really cute in the morning when 2 hornbill birds knocked on the window. I thought it was someone, lol This is a very old building so don't expect it to be a fancy wood cabin. The views are amazing. You can see the Buddha. Towels and a little bar of soap is provided. The only thing I would prefer is better water pressure for shower and not too hot. I couldn't figure out how to make it less hot. oh and lots of stairs. Bring small luggage. The aircon is stuck so it blows directly onto the bed. My BFF couldn't handle it even though I had it at 24C°. Great stay overall!
