Zoe’s home was a beautiful place to escape. Very serene and quiet. We made a mistake with our booking and Zoe was super accommodating. Would definitely stay here again :)

Thand Malena, I couldn't recommend staying here highly enough! Our family had a fantastic long weekend and our two dogs were in doggy heaven! The cottage was very well equiped and had basically everything we needed. The indoor fireplace was awesome and we used the firepit outside every night. The view was absolutely spectacular, and more picturesque than several of the lookouts we went to. The gardens were beautifully maintained and created a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Great spot for stargazing and in the evening you could actually see the lights of Sydney in the distance.. Stunning.

Absolutely gorgeous clean home with pretty garden, good beds and a very spacious shower! Joss is a great host in case you ever need anything, but the house has everything. And what a view! We’ve just spent hours outside sitting on the bench on the covered deck and enjoying the ever changing view of the Blue Mountains. Very pretty! Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! Such a restful setting and beautifully decorated home. There was plenty of space for our multi-generational group to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, cutlery and cooking equipment, as well as a coffee machine and dishwasher. The outdoor deck area was a great space to enjoy leisurely breakfasts and bbq dinners. Cate was very responsive and helpful. Thanks so much!

Beautifully, cosy home with plenty of space and leafy outlook

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

One of our favorite Airbnb’s. Excellent kitchen set-up and very nice beds. Great collection of books and LP’s to enjoy. If you like Asian fusion, try Miss Lillian’s about 100 meters from the front door. Conservation Hut and Tempus were other favorites nearby. Covered parking and a short walk to Three Sisters which you can enjoy early morning and late afternoon/ evening without the crowds.

We had a lovely stay here. Very comfortable home in a nice quite location, with a well equipped kitchen for those wanting to cook. We would like to return during winter as this would be a lovely place to relax in with the wood fire and the views.

The house was perfect, just like in the pictures. It was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a real feeling of home. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!
