The Windmill Cottage is perfect to detox, rewind and get away from the hectic of the city. The interior design is stunningly beautiful and exactly like in the picutres. The hosts have thought of many little luxury items adding to the experience, like an outdoor grill. The cottage is the perfect place to get away from society and connect with nature while still having all the comfort and luxury of modern living. The host James is very responsive and definitely going the extra mile to ensure you are having a wonderful stay. He even offered to get us groceries so we wouldn't need to drive back into the city. The attention to detail is unmatched. All in all an unforgettable experience.

This was the perfect space to get some much needed rest and downtime. I thoroughly enjoyed reading on the hammock, watching horses in the fields, observing the bird life, having visitations from the friendly and well-behaved dogs and having lekker braais in the evenings. I was lucky to happen upon two magnificent blue cranes on my way in which was an absolute treat for me ❤️ Checking in and out was super easy. Wendy was an excellent and attentive host. I hope to return with my partner next time. Thank you for the awesome stay!

Beautiful, serene surroundings. The cicadas and the frogs were delightful; very noisy at night but that didn’t bother us as we grew up in the bush. Very private, lovely dam swims, comfy dome and good amenities - We enjoyed a gorgeous braai under the stars followed by a bath by moonlight! So romantic! Would highly recommend

I absolutely loved staying here. The views are unmatched. I will definitely be returning and highly recommending.
