Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kamo River

I stayed for two nights, but it was a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. The landlord was kind and I had a pleasant holiday. Thank you very much.

Very clean and traditional home near Nijo Castle. Ruru is a great host - very responsive and proactive with communications. The house is located in a residential area and not that close to the main sites apart from Nijo Castle so we needed up getting taxis there or you can get the bus. There is however a 7/11 at the end of the road which is useful! We stumbled across Bar Quasimodo which is great and there seemed to be lots of other bars and restaurants around it.

A little bit out of the city, but that's good too. The owner is also a good person, and I had a good time.

The interior is quite well designed and the facilities are easy to use.The boss was very enthusiastic and patient with our questions about the surrounding restaurants, and helped us book the restaurant.All in all, it feels great, and will consider booking this room when you come to Kyoto.

Staying at Chikashi’s Airbnb was great. The house is very comfy and it is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Besides, you have the train station very close. Chikashi is very kind and helpful. Thank you sou much!

Beautiful old house in such a nice location, everything within walking distance. Staying in the house was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Everything was perfect, we would love to stay again. Keiko is a lovely host. Thank you for this beautiful experience.

The host was very quick to respond, Sao's husband was very warm, opened the heater in advance and waited for us, and patiently taught us to use various appliances.The house is clean, the details are in place, it's convenient to live in, our six big one little stay was comfortable and the family loved it.

It was very convenient and close to Shin-Osaka Station! I thought it would be even better if there were soundproof glass and blackout curtains so that the sound of the train was quiet! The interior was very beautiful and easy to use!

This place was great. Within walking distance of basically everything. Even the Fushimi Inari Taisha was only like a 45 minute walk from the Airbnb. But I tend to walk everywhere and sight see along the way. Plenty of shopping districts and restaurants nearby. And it was right on the Kamo river with a view and chairs from the balcony area. As far as the Airbnb room itself, it was as advertised and had everything I needed a room to have. Overall a good place for a solo traveler like myself.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. The location is perfect – quiet, yet close to everything important. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the communication was smooth. I especially appreciated that everything looked exactly like in the pictures, and I felt comfortable right away. We stayed here as a family and if was a fantastic place. It was easy to get around and our host was very friendly and proactive in giving us suggestions for local areas. Our host was also very responsive to all our questions and requests, would highly recommend staying here for other tourists visiting Osaka. Will definitely be staying here next time we visit!!

A beautiful, cozy apartment in the heart of Gion district Kyoto. Location is excellent. We enjoyed seeing geishas and meikos regularly on evening walks just outside the apartment. It was close to hiking trails, many sightseeing destinations, trains, restaurants, etc. In the heart of everything. And yet super quiet, being on 4th floor with no neighbors (above or on sides) in an alley. Only downside is that the kitchen is very efficient, single burner, no counter space, etc. But you should be mostly eating out anyway. Also there is a red light at night in the main room from the fire alarm—we had to cover it with a jacket to sleep. Not sure what other reviewers thought was deceptive—it was as I expected, and honestly the view is phenomenal. Yes there is a parking lot but you can hardly see it and beyond that are the beautiful Kyoto hills and tops of temples peaking out. Tatami room was wonderfully cozy. Furniture and linens were quality. Stayed super warm inside. We miss it already!!

This time, I went to Kansai with my friends, stayed at Xiaodai's house for three nights, it was really great, the elegant Japanese tatami villa, the interior is also beautiful, the living inside is very comfortable, the villa is located in the rich part of Kyoto, the environment is very good, although it is not in the center of the city, the amenities are very good, the subway and convenience stores are within a very short walk.And then, Sister Dai is really super nice!Very enthusiastic. He answered all kinds of questions on WeChat before checking in. He drove to Kyoto to pick us up at Yamashina Station on the day of arriving, and then gave us a detailed introduction of how to play in Kyoto. How to take a car, let us contact her on WeChat at any time when we encounter problems. The last night also took out a treasure of wine. It made me feel like a host, but a good friend who has been hosting me in Japan for many years.

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

The owner's elegant and lovely personality everywhere, such as the building, garden, and facilities, and it was a very beautiful place to stay. Your explanation and response were also very polite and helpful. The BBQ and bonfire in the garden with the scent of golden rhinoceros were fun and exceptional.The breakfast you provided was also very delicious, and everyone had a great trip from beginning to end. We'd love to visit again if we get the chance.
