Everything is great :) clean, large room, nice pool and very nice hosts. Delicious breakfast. The beach is within walking distance of a few minutes

We arrived at three o'clock in the morning and met us like family. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. If you want to stay a little in the rainforest, watch parrots, squirrels, insects, look at plants, then this place is a great place. The veranda is located, so that you can enjoy the view of the vegetation and create a sense of privacy. Breakfast deserves special attention, time can be negotiated in advance, as it was convenient for us. There was always delicious Ceylon tea, fruit shakes, and the dishes were delicious with a local feel, new and varied every day. Now about the house and its hostess. An interesting design (which is why we chose it) for three friends was comfortable and cozy in it for three friends in it. The reality was better than the picture in the app. The host responded to our requests, all of our needs were met. Intika surrounded us with care and attention. We cooked dinners ourselves, either on the grill in the yard or in the kitchen at home. The evenings were spent on the veranda. They clean the house, if we wish, also change towels. There is a washing machine, the hostess will be happy to show you how to use the appliances. And dry things. What was very good for us is the beach. Wide coastline, great water temperature and minimum people. Unlike the other end of the beach. 12 minutes walk, we really liked these walks, there is an opportunity to see the real life of the locals. The fruit market is 10 minutes away. The fish market is 15 minutes away. We were very satisfied with both the location and the price and of course the quality. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It is always a pleasure when a stay lives up to expectations. Darshaka and his Family exceeded our expectations definitely. They were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was close enough to the beach but very quiet except for birdsong and the odd monkey call. He also organised tours for us which were great. We will come again.

This was one of the best stays we had during our trip. It's beautifully located on the beach, the kids loved the pool and Anne-Marie is such a great host; warm, friendly, flexible and with good advice on what to do and how to get around. We had been traveling around for the better part of our trip and this was a perfect place to wind down for a few days.

Great guest house with warm hospitality. I felt like being at home away from my own home. The host made me feel like a member of his family. I strongly recommend other future potential guest to enjoy the family atmosphere there in person.

The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x

This awesome house is run by a very sweet family who are easy to communicate with and always do their best to help. The location is in a very green and quiet area away from the hustle and bustle with a beautiful Buddhist temple and green rice fields nearby with lots peacocks (and all kinds of birds) around. I stayed at this house for two months and it has been a delight.

We had a great stay celebrating two birthday’s with our friends and children. Our host was always on hand if we needed anything. For the budget this place was perfectly suitable for our group. We would Definitely stay again.

Despite an address issue due to Google map, we really enjoyed our stay. we though we would be inland at the back of Hiriketiya beach. we were instead nicely secluded by a rocky little cove, no tourists except for us... Ranjith was very helpful in getting to us by scooter and paying for a tuk-tuk to repatriate us to his property. we were welcomed with a breath taking view and drinks... the room, if small is comfortable and clean. Its size is well compensated by a outside shaded area were you can enjoy peace and relaxation. breakfast was one of the best we had with airbnb host. highly recommended for nature lovers who want to stand out out of the way of mass tourism.

Staying with sanath was really great and we felt right at home. Sanath also cooked for us which was very tasty and always helpful to ask. The breakfast was right on the beach. All in all, some beautiful days. Thank you and your wife.

Villa Sublime lives up to its name. We spent a month in Sri Lanka travelling around AirBnB's and this was my favourite. The location is convenient but yet you feel a million miles away from other people. The grounds and the accommodation are immaculate and tasteful. Darshini is a great cook and so obliging, we were there to chill and we ate at the villa most days so we really availed ourselves of her wonderful Sri Lankan food. The pool was fabulous and it's so much fun to float about and watch the monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I'm fussy. Highly recommended.

We loved staying here! Isuru and his family were so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. They gave us good recommendations for food, surf instructors and snorkeling, and they made the most delicious breakfast for us every morning! The area is quiet which we really liked, and it took us five minutes to walk to the beach for surfing. If you’re into running/walking the area is perfect for this as well! We would definitely love to come back :)

We spent 4 nights here and it was simply the best stay of our entire trip. Firstly the location is incredible - the beach is just 20 steps away. you can literally leave your towels, books and beach things in your room, go for a swim, come back take an open shower at the bnb and sun bathe on your patio. the beach is practically secluded and almost entirely free of any crowd during the whole day, making it almost a private beach. We spent almost all our time at the beach or in the water, thanks to its proximity. The main Hikka market area is also close enough if you want to go out to a restaurant or bar. We had our own rented tuktuk so it was easy as pie to go out for lunch and/or dinner. If you plan to walk it, it might be a 30min walk or so. On top of that, the breakfast options and food here was AMAZING. some of the best Sri Lankan food we had the entire trip. Sanoj is super friendly and even gave us snorkeling gear for free when he found out we wanted to do that. Absolute must stay.

Rose blossom guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay! The room was lovely and Chani and her family are so attentive and welcoming! They made a delicious breakfast for us every morning and they even made us breakfast slightly earlier one morning as we were going on an excursion.

Had such a lovely time at Maria’s Cristina was such a great host and communicator,the room was beautiful and the staff were so helpful and kind. I will be coming back in the future

In the Russian enclave called “Hikkaduwa”, there is a true gem hidden. Villa Kandu feels like coming home and has everything you need in Sri Lanka. From the Villa you can walk directly onto the beach, but there is also a swimming pool for when the waves are too high. Gabi & Hans have created a paradise here and give the best tips on what to do. Highly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I just arrived in Sri Lanka recently and couldn't be happier that we booked one here! Nagulan is a super host m, extremely friendly and helpful and I had long conversations with him about everything possible. The proximity to the beach is a dream, you can go snorkeling right outside the door (I saw a turtle right on the first dive) The food is world class, the chef really has something on it so definitely take the Sri Lankan style breakfast! (Western style is also great) If you get the chance to get lunch there, I would also recommend it directly. The house is super modernly furnished, the internet is also good. (60 MBIT/second download and upload) when the flat is empty just let Nagulan know :) I am a digital nomad myself and would book me here every time. See you next time! :)

Bathiya was very welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived & gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and spas. The room was clean and tidy with a massive comfortable bed. The AC was dripping water but he was quick to sort the problem out. The location was very close to the beach, loads of restaurants and things to do. We very much enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend!

My first place I stayed at in Sri Lanka and I really enjoyed it. Many travelers Iet raved about it also but in comparison to other places they'd stayed. Liked: The complimentary breakfasts that were great. The ac rooms. The monkeys on the roof! The super friendly and smiling neighbors. Short walk to the beach. Deck to sit on and read was peaceful. Washing machine. Bottled water to use. Didn't like: The kitchen wasn't as stocked as I'd like. The spices could use labeling and a refeash, the knives needed sharpening too. A cutting board would be nice (could help keep knives sharp longer too). Overall it wasn't so much a house stay as I was expecting, but more like a hostel of sorts. I loved it and would recommend.
