We really enjoyed our stay! There is plenty of open space, a full kitchen with plenty of cooking pots, pans, sheets along with cooking utensils, which was helpful in keeping our eating out to a minimum. Snorkel equipment was supplied, along with beach chairs, an umbrella and a boogie board which was an added bonus. Having laundry facilities available to us was great as well. The location was beautiful and in a fantastic location, mountains and the ocean all within the Princeville location. We enjoyed meeting Brent who is a very kind guy. If this Airbnb is available do not hesitate in booking as it is a real gem!

It’s a clean simple place to stay and doesn’t distract from the purpose in visiting the island. Nothing more, nothing less. The location was great. The bed was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy Kauai away from the residence. If you’re the type to go to Hawaii and stend all your time at the accommodation, look elsewhere. If you just need a comfortable, affordable place to lay your head, clean up and go enjoy the island each day this is perfect! The small space grew on us and the location was great. We asked for towels after a few days and Larry and staff were quick to respond and get us clean ones. We had beach chairs, beach towels and a nice place to unwind, shower and watch a movie at night. The full sized fridge was great for Costco runs. The hotplate worked great with the minimal cookware that we used. Overall a great place. We didn’t come for the accommodations, we came for Kauai. I stopped staying in conventional hotels 25 years ago in favor of AIRBNB....and this one was the creme de la creme! It's a studio apartment beneath their gorgeous home and has panoramic windows looking out to a nature wonderland. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views and so pastoral -- a delicious retreat from city life. The neighborhood itself is a treat to behold....so many unusual birds and plants and trees and Lauren's house is one of the few backing to open space, as we call it here in Boulder. Everything was so fresh and clean. There is a grocery store just 1/2 a mile away along with a few casual restaurants. Kauai is now my favorite place--it's gentle and mystical and what is better than both mountains and ocean on the beautiful north shore near the iconic Napali Coast. And Lauren's accommodations will enhance your visit to the hilt~!

We loved our stay. It was a peaceful, beautiful setting. We appreciated being in a less populated area but accessible by quick walk or drive to beaches, Hanalei and plenty of restaurants. The home had everything we needed. We made good use of all the beach gear. It got steamy in the home during the day but cooled off at night with all the window units, fans and whole home fan. Loved morning coffee and reading on the lanai!
