Monthly Rentals in Kachho Muqam

We had a great stay at sunset chalet. The place is right opposite to dal lake. The morning view was amazing and the host has been very friendly and welcoming. He took care of us very well by checking on us time to time if we would require something. The place was so quiet and clean. Just as shown in the pictures. If you have to work, they got pretty good wifi connection.

It was such a pleasure staying at Shahanawaz Uncle's Airbnb. He is a truly wonderful host! From the moment I arrived, he made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The accommodations were exactly as described, clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What really made my stay special, though, was Shahanawaz Uncle's genuine hospitality. He was always happy to chat and offer recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and he even [mention a specific act of kindness, e.g., helped me with travel accomodations which turned out to be awesome. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like visiting family, although i might ve not been the best guest he had, he surely made me feel great and noticed, I highly recommend Shahanawaz Uncle's place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and truly memorable experience. This January (2025), I had the pleasure of staying at Ladakh House for three weeks, and it was an unforgettable experience. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the room was incredibly cozy. Thanks to a traditional “hammam” heating system, which kept us comfortable with just a light wool sweater. The internet (60 Mbps) was perfect for my remote work. The attached kitchen had everything we needed. Mujtaba, our host, was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, checking in daily and sharing tips about Kashmir, local food, and places to visit. He even stocked up on breakfast supplies so much, in fact, we had to ask him to stop bringing more! Mehraj, our driver, was also wonderful. He not only took us to all the major sites but also showed us hidden gems. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our trip to Kashmir special and memorable.

What truly sets this home stay apart is the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, treating us like family from the moment we arrived. Qazi and his Mom were always available to assist with any requests. This place is very close to the airport, perfectly located for both relaxation and exploration . Popular tourist spots, cafe, departmental stores were just a short drive away. Our stay at qazi’s place was nothing short of perfect, an experience that exceeded all our expectations !! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar .
