Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kachemak Bay

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

This is the one! Shane’s place is a true gem. The house was beautiful and immaculate. The space was laid out well and Shane had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The two separate living areas were wonderful with kiddos. They really enjoyed playing ping pong and foosball. The view was superb. We so enjoyed drinking our coffee on the back deck in the morning and our glasses of wine in the evening. We hope to visit again soon.

Loved this place!! Was very cozy and looked better than the pics online. Peaceful Location and easy access to all we needed! Great response times when we texted, and we were unsure about our arrival date when we initially booked, he said was no prob to add a day prior if needed. Fully stocked kitchen w all utensils and large spice variety was great for our meals in! Would stay here again. Thanks!!!

I’m a germaphobe and this place was immaculate! Everything was so cozy and beautiful. The place smelled brand new and everything we needed was provided. The location was great and we even had moose across the street. The hosts were very responsive and attentive and even left the sweetest note upon check in. I come back to homer every august and I’ll definitely stay here again. ❤️

What a fantastic property. The personal touches were so inviting and made us feel like it was our home. Loved watching Mama moose with her calf taking a stroll across the lawn. The windows and views were stunning! We could clearly see right down to Homer Spit and also the mountains/glaciers across Kachemak bay. The location was remote and private, yet close to everything. Would love to visit again! Thank you for all the accommodation!

This place is a perfect spot! It’s location is so close to everything you want in Homer! It’s a gorgeous home inside, super comfy beds, & wonderful personal touches to make you feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave! Daniel was there to greet us with a friendly smile and we truly felt at home. We will be back when we come to Homer again!

definitely the best place to stay in homer. it was close to all the places we wanted to go. the stay had everything along with games to play with friends, huge windows to enjoy the scenery, cozy living room with a fireplace. I would definitely stay again here.

We stayed for a couple nights there with my husband. it's a great spot. Very close to town. the view is beautiful and it's a nice quiet spot. The only thing is that the hot tub was a little too hot for us. it's locked in at 105°F. too hot to be in for longer than 10 minutes. But we asked Jen to turn it down and she did that which was awesome, thank you Jen for the amazing stay!

Very comfortable and quiet place with a ton of helpful niceties about. We loved its central Homer location in a quiet neighborhood. Mary provided lots of little extras that really welcomed us and made the trip that much more enjoyable.

Beautiful place! Very peaceful and relaxing. Not many places provide a private hot tub either, especially with such a great view!
