Ingrid was very helpful, with clear directions and instructions, and information and suggestions about the local area. Cosy without being crowded, with an excellent kitchen and bathroom, and an amazing log burner, as well as, most importantly, being dog friendly with an inclosed garden. Thanks for having us!

I grew up in Sidmouth and know the area pretty well. Ruth's self contained space has most things you will need, and in a great position that you can walk to any part of the main town/sea front. There is off street parking not to be sniffed at, and located just outside the main town centre, so when you either arrive or leave its quick and easy no hassle. A lovely space, great comfy bed. Well stocked breakfast wise, with fridge. Great shower room, with underfloor heating. Nothing too much trouble for Ruth.

Sue's place was like a home from home. It had everything we needed and it was clean and cosy. It was in a peaceful location and the only sound we heard was the moos of the cows from the farm. It was the perfect base to explore Hope Cove, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. Had a very enjoyable stay.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

This was my third Christmas in the Annex, my mother is in a nearby care home and it is an ideal place to stay and take her to over the break. It is warm, easy to access, and I was able to use the well equiped kitchen to cook her some good meals before taking her back each evening. The bed is very comfortable, so I slept well. The flat is very private, quiet and peaceful. Adele is a very responsive host, without being intrusive, and keeps the place spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is such a relief to have somewhere really cozy and properly set up to take my dear old mum. I highly recommend this place, as you can tell by the way I keep booking it every Christmas!

This was my second stay as I visit family in Bournemouth at least 4 times a year. The property is absolutely ideal, very private and quiet. John and Coral are truly amazing hosts and can never do enough to make sure that you are comfortable. I genuinely feel very lucky that I found this location and John and Coral are a real pleasure to deal with - Will definitely be staying again and absolutely my first choice when I come down in the future.

Great stay. My husband booked it for a couple of night while we were house hunting in the area. I booked the house viewings. It wasn’t until we arrived that we realised we were staying in the annexe of one of the houses that we were viewing! It’s a beautiful property, centrally located in the village and the hosts had thought of everything! We even found home made cakes, wine and basic provisions in the kitchen which was a really welcome touch. We would definitely stay again. This is the standard that all Airbnb should strive for!

Susan is a lovely host. The Airbnb is in such a picturesque location with lots to do around it. 110% come here if you are looking for a weekend escape 🙌🙌

We were made so welcome by our hosts and given really helpful local information and tips. The house is in a beautiful private setting surrounded by woods and within walking distance of local shops & restaurants. The suite is very spacious, well furnished, beautifully decorated & had everything we could possible have needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We took our Springador Burt with us and he was also made very welcome. We really appreciated the provisions left for us too, especially after a long drive. We couldn’t have asked for any more. It was just perfect and we would definitely stay again.

Louisa, Pete and family were so incredibly welcoming and caring towards us. Not a normal visit, as we stayed for two months for the birth of our first child... Louisa and Pete made us feel at home from the start, being there for us, whilst simultaneously giving us privacy. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. The place is well-equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and modern. Lympstone is a quaint, English village, with good pubs and a cute cafe. A huge bonus is the access to the cycle/walking path along the estuary. Topsham, Exmouth and Exeter are all close and have their own charms. There's plenty to see in the area - having grown up in Devon, I can attest to this being one of the best locations in south Devon to have a base for exploring. Thanks again Louisa, Pete and family. Fantastic hosts. Flatlet was exactly as described. Brialliant location just outside of the town. Flatlet had everything required, even had tea, coffee, milk and buscuits for our arrival. 2 televisions and a great sized bathroom with shower. Couldnt have staued in a better place. Gary was easy to communicate with and very helpful. 5 star.

Excellent experience. Detailed instructions together with many recommendations were sent far in advance. Accommodation, while quite small, is very charming, beautifully designed and equipped with just about anything one might need. It was evident that Freya knows and understands hospitality, and as such can not recommend enough. Location is great. Withing walking distance (or up to 10 min car ride) to many sights.

Warm welcome and a lovely place to stay. Wish we were there longer so we could take advantage of the recommended walking. Great space and views with breakfast including homemade jam.

I stayed at Angie’s place as I was working locally for the week. The check in instructions were very clear and easy, the place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Angie was very responsive and easy to deal with, I needed to stay on for an extra night and that was not a problem. Parking (for a van) was very easy. If I am in the area again I would definitely stay here and would 100% recommend Angie’s place.

What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and had everything that we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully presented, we loved the hot tub and - like many reviews before - the shower was one of the best we’d ever had! Lyme Regis is a 25 minute walk away, which was very manageable. The local pub, the Talbot Arms, is a mere 3 minute walk away. The food was fantastic, staff were friendly and they had a great pool table! Would recommend a fishing trip with Blue Turtle Charters and a trip to Pebblebed Vineyards for a tour. Sarah was responsive and gave lots of useful recommendations for the local area.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the last three days. It was perfectly located peaceful neighbourhood close to the amenities. I literally don’t have any faults and as soon as the opportunity arises and I’m in the local area I will definitely be staying here.

A compact, but comfortable space to stay. Everything you could possibly need, ideal for those travelling on business or personal trips. Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning little gateway. Lizi was the best host, so friendly, always happy to help and went above and beyond. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing in a very private garden, so peaceful listening to the wildlife. Everywhere was immaculate and very clean. Ruth’s home is both a work of art, but also cosy and intimate. The home itself is beautifully designed and furnished, while also being very convenient and thoughtful equipped and stocked. The location private, while being a 10 minutes walk to restaurants / stores, and a little more to the main sight of the city. Ruth has been more than proactive with information and tips ahead of arrival and with information left in the home itself. Could not ask for more.
