Shimiyacu is a haven of peace and the place is absolutely beautiful. Ruth is lovely and her food is a treat! Jhon is very kind and considerate. I stayed for 8 days and immediately felt at home thanks to them. On the way between the house and the pool: butterflies, toucans, twice monkeys! The entrance to the Alto Shilcayo Natural Park is right next door, with marked and maintained paths that allow you to discover the forest on your own. I would definitely recommend this place!

This is the best place to stay in Tarapoto! Its s super comfortable place, well located, with air conditioning (very important in Tarapoto). The space is so well designed with lots of light and the amazing windows, you feel like you are in a treehouse. Its also right next to the best gym I've ever seen in all of Peru... I went everyday. Nice hosts.. all in all 5 stars
