I have no hesitation in saying this is a really lovely place and our hosts were really lovely people. We got a very warm welcome and good advice about where to eat etc. We were very comfortable in the accommodation, everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Mike H

Andy has a great place to stay. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're walking into your own home. The decor is timeless and fitting of the area of Dumfries. The living areas in the house are set up to be very sociable. The location is very peaceful and allows you to take in the Scottish countryside. Andy was very polite, came over to see if we had settled in, providing guidance and information on the different walks in the local area. I would recommend to anyone thinking about staying that it is value for money. We will definitely be back 😀

It was mine and my partners first time away together, and it was absolutely lovely! Joanne gave us a full range of instructions to make sure we knew our way around. The views are to die for. All the appliances were up to date, everything looked super modern. I would also recommend staying here to anyone looking to go to Scotland.

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.
