As an American who has only visited the West Coast of Taiwan previously, this place gave me a new insight into how relaxed and island-like Taiwan can be. My wife and I stayed here on a short trip to the East Coast while visiting family on the West Coast. In short, this place is amazing and was by far the best place we stayed on our journey. We had initially booked one of the tube-style rooms above the main building; the owner, Sean, offered to upgrade to one of the glamping-style accommodations in the adjacent lot, which we took him up on. When we wanted to relax, the deck with the included hammock provided plenty of options for lounging about, with only the sound of the waves crashing nearby and the faint glow of fireflies flying around in the evening. When we felt like socializing, the bar/café at the main facility was full of lively characters, good drinks, and lots of great stories to go around. The place is clean and cozy, and the location is in a lively alley, and although it is lively all around, it feels like a seclusion once you enter the property.

This place was perfect for my wife and I. Walking distance to resorts and hot springs and a short drive to Tiatung. The apartment was thoughtfully designed with everything needed for lengthy stay. There where two new quiet air-conditioning units, mini split systems; made it easy to control the environment. The host supplied lots of free botted water. Plenty of free parking on the street. Would definitely stay here again.
