This is our home away from home when visiting family in Lake Macquarie area, the unit is always spotless, and Matt and Mel are always helpful hosts, this is the best value air bnb we have ever stayed in, just great!!

This was a very good place to stay. As well as the advertised and expected things, all the extras made all the difference. Welcome gifts on arrival, washing powder, an umbrella to use if needed, glad wrap, aeroguard, containers to store food etc. All the things you have at home and don't necessarily take on holiday. We brought bikes and Jenny happily accommodated a 'parking' space' undercover and out of sight. Everything was very clean. Supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants are very close. A few bus routes are nearby. We would happily stay again. Parking is on the street. It was not a big deal and we nearly always parked out front or very close. Looking for a space in business hours was the only time parking was limited.

A delightful hideaway. Private with a wrap around balcony overlooking bush land. Many birds and a resident lizard. The space had everything I needed. Slept so well in the comfy bed. Handy to beaches and Merewether ocean pool. Recommend fish and chips up at Whitebridge. Shall return. Thanks Maree
