Melissa's Cottage is a real feel-good place. You enter the accommodation and feel right at home. It is very clean, incredibly cosy and furnished with love. In the morning you are greeted by birdsong and deer in the garden. It is about 1 hour away from Yosemite National Park. The perfect place to switch off. We would definitely come back. Thank you Melissa for this accommodation!

Loved the cabin and Jason is a very thoughtful host. We enjoyed the place, the fireplace and the overall stay. We cooked most dinners and found the place reasonably placed (please don’t compare to staying within the national park). We were not disappointed in any way and had a good night sleep on all the days.

Excellent location, it's a small paradise in nature with lots of deer. Great host. When we got sick we even could stay a little bit longer. Highly recommended!

Only great things! The cabin is perfectly laid out with great mix of cabin-ey things and nice house things. We brought our pups and they were treated with plenty of open space to run. The dog park is great and I honestly think that they each lost about 5 lbs from all of the exercise. We were fortunate to catch some great weather that went from sunny and 50s, to waking up to 4-6 inched of snow. The hot tub was perfect, too. As mentioned in other reviews, everything that could possibly need is there. Space was clean. And not the "clean" that I've seen at other cabins that includes layers of dust, but actually clean. Absolutely highly-recommend staying here!
