Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Jelsa

The fisherman's house is magical facing the sea, it allows a real disconnection. We would have stayed for a few more days… Attention difficult access on stony path for 2km and neighbor on the left, nothing disturbing but not specified in the listing

A lovely Airbnb stay on a beautiful island ! Host was very helpful and responsive with any queries had. Location was ideal as could walk to the beaches within 2 mins and boat to hvar was only 10 mins.

A lovely apparentment over two floors, close to everything and super quiet. Jesse was a great host with excellent knowledge of Komiza, plus he met us off the bus from Vis which was very helpful.. especially if you have experienced Croatian street planning! We really enjoyed our stay, and sitting out on the little balcony... plus, in Komiza we had some of the best wood-fired pizza and ice-cream we've had in Croatia!

From greeting to cleanliness ,tidiness, and kindness, everything is more than perfect. All recommendations for a place to stay ! The house was comfortably set up and had quite a bit of space with two levels and a huge yard. It was very clean. Zoran put a lot of thought into the furnishings and art and provided extra toilet paper, coffee filters, paper towels, spices, pillows, towels and more. The Village is very quaint and friendly. We ate at Konoba Bajso down the road and hiked the local trails. We had a long stay and really enjoyed ourselves. Zoran was very communicative, helpful and friendly. Parking in the assigned space and walking down the short stone path to the stone house added to the charm and the view of the sea was amazing. We definitely recommend it.

If you want a total change of scenery, in a fully renovated fishing house, at the bottom of a small cove, Romano's house is for you. We spent the 3rd week of October there with great pleasure. If most restaurants are actually closed, and the days stop around 6:30 p.m., the absence of tourists, the good weather and a water temperature around 20•C will have been decisive assets.

We two couples spent 3 wonderful nights at Vladimir's amazing home in Hvar. The house itself is beautiful, spacious and luxuriously appointed. We wish we had even more time to spend on the 2 long-narrow balconies: one off the kitchen facing a charming narrow pedestrian-only street and the other off the first 2nd floor bedroom facing the harbor. One could sit for hours on that second balcony at night watching the sunset, the activity in the harbor (from pure calm & quiet with no boats to an evening of giant anchored yachts with boisterous parties and crowds of people enjoying the balmy air and people watching) -- and glancing up at the Hvar cliffside fortress. The house is right in the middle of things, but set back a short block and completely soundproof with the windows shut. Vladmir is a super responsive host (and local), always available and even going out of his way to help with reservations at popular restaurant. A truly magical place.

It was a lovely stay. Everything was as described and clean. The only criterion was the volleyball court , which was never playable at any time, as it was still muddy and still damp even after several sunny days. All in all, a great place to stay.

We had a great time staying here which made our trip to Hvar even more enjoyable. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and only 15 min walk from the centre. There was also an amazing beach walking distance from the apartment which was great! Ante was a great host - very responsive and he offered to pick up our luggage from the port and bring it to the apartment as well as drive us from and to the port. Highly recommend!

As people who regularly use Airbnb properties when travelling we have to say that Natali's place is one of if not the best place that we have stayed in. Natali is exceptionally communicative throughout and the little touches that she adds (water and juice in the fridge, biscuits on the side for when we arrived, arranging taxi transfers for us to and from the ferry terminal, recommending the best places for food, drink etc, and messaging to help with enquiries about ferry transfers, trips etc, letting us know where spare beach towels, snorkels etc are kept for us to borrow) just make her the most friendly and attentive host. The property itself was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished throughout. All the usual amenities are provided and the outdoor bath, seating areas and sun loungers provided make it feel extra special. Location of the property is ideal being only a short walk from the centre of Hvar. We really felt at home here and are already planning our return next year!

Helena was a brilliant host, She went above and beyond! You can see why she’s been hosting for 10 years! We only stayed for one evening, but she was still kind enough to offer us a laundry service at short notice! Rooms were bigger than expected, Aircon was fantastic, Location was perfect, the beach and restaurants were easily a 2 minute walk, and you can reach The Golden Horn in 20 minutes! The value for money with this location is unbelievable in today’s climate! Will definitely be coming back, and if you’re looking at other locations in Bol, look no further and book now! You won’t be disappointed.

Had an amazing 3 night stay here! It’s a very nice place for 2 ppl looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Hvar. Hosts were amazing and responsive. Left a booklet of recommendations, and tons of info. It is a slightly uphill walk from the port but so is everything in Hvar so it’s ok. Everything was clean and I would stay again!

We were pleasantly surprised as the place is even nicer than the pictures. Great location about 1km from the city center with nice beaches just a 2 minute walk away. Grocery store just around the corner as well. Very clean place and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive to messages. Only issue is the wifi was very weak in the bedroom, but for such a short stay it was the least of our issues. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay! So beautiful, unbelievably clean, everything you could need in the kitchen. The apartment is close to the beaches and near some nice restaurants - I never wanted to leave! The Elica was super helpful and responsive, she even sent over info about the ferries to and from Bol prior to our arrival! Thank you so much and would love to stay again

The house is fantastic. We enjoyed the barbecue and sunset rides walking along the sea avenue to the center of Hvar, which is close by. The house was spotless, the furniture and kitchen in perfect condition. I highly recommend it and would stay again. Pjer is very friendly and responds quickly if you have any questions.

Super friendly and helpful host, spotless clean apartment in a silent area but close to everything (shops, restaurants, downtown, beach). Private parking place was really comfortable. Absolutelly recommended!

Such a gorgeous air bnb! We really enjoyed our stay here. Only a 30 minute bus from the city centre, you really can’t beat this location. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Definitely reccomend.

Our stay at Luka's apartment was fantastic! We stayed there for a week, aiming to enjoy some hiking, beach relaxation, and a bit of sun before winter. The apartment was perfect—modern, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't be better, right next to the city center and stunning Biokovo Mountain, just steps from the beach, making it ideal for both hiking and lazy beach days. Luka was an outstanding host — very friendly, responsive, and eager to help. He shared great local tips for exploring Makarska and Biokovo, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and if we ever return to Makarska, we hope Luke's apartment will be available again. We'd love to come back!

Great location right in the car-free little old town of Komiza and thus everything super easy to reach, beautiful harbor promenade and because the old stone house in the second row is also quiet. The house itself is very clairaudient, which means when the neighbors walk over it, you can hear every step. Very narrow staircase, so not accessible. Large roof terrace facing the north. Disadvantage of the great location is that you can't get to the apartment by car and thus with more luggage, shopping, etc. Suggestion for improvement would be that you provide the tenants, for example, a wagon or the like, so that you can move your luggage/shopping to the apartment from the public parking lot (€15 per day). For tourists who fly to Split and then transfer by ferry, there is a transfer bus from the city of Vis (same name with the island) to the city of Komiza, which is excellent. On site there are several scooter rental companies, which is recommended.

Very nice host, good value for money, perfect for family holidays

Amazing. Feel that Erika explained everything very well. One thing that stood out was how much Erika provided to make our stay more comfortable. There were beers in the fridge and coffee waiting for us. There were beach towels and inflatables for kids. This place Is prefect for families of 6 or less. Steep hill and steps to the property from the beach but more than worth it for that view. Thanks again Erika
