Monthly Rentals in Jay

This is a lovely and very functional studio with a gorgeous lake view, as promised. It was easy and comfortable to spend a night there and I would definitely come back next time I'm in Newport.

Having driven past this home for over a decade of trips to Jay Peak, I've always longingly wondered what it would be like to own something this close. Now I got to briefly experience that feeling, and it's as magical as I imagined! I stayed in the garage apartment part of the property and it was perfect in every way for a brief trip with my small family, and perfectly located! Even with terrible winds and constant snowfall, the roads were manageable and the driveway was plowed first thing in the morning by a lovely gentleman. My only words of caution don't reflect poorly on the rental- one of my two dogs struggled with the road noise/plows (keeping the TV on helped) and the (beautiful) spiral staircase is anxiety-inducing as a single mom with two kids under 5, especially right over the woodstove (we live in a rural VT cabin so no real biggies, just different). But was exactly as pictured so MomFears just won over lol! Also, no need to ever turn heat above 64, even in single digits!!
