Great host and lovely cottage!

We had a wonderful stay! We loved the wild goat that visited us almost everyday! The house was beautiful and more spacious than we thought from the photos. Would definitely stay again!

The cottage was spectacular and exactly as described, and James and Camila were only a message away if we needed anything. Directions for getting down to the cottage was throughly laid out and easy to follow, The cottage was peaceful and serene and a wonderful spot to have a private getaway.

We spent a month here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. A beautifully remodeled farm home with a picturesque view of the foothills and farmland. Super close to Yaoola Creek park and Dahlonega center, too. And if any issue arose, they responded immediately. Jeana, the property manager, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

We loved the close proximity to Main Street and all the restaurants. The hot tub and spa were a great addition to our stay.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Point. It was easy to find and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. It was exactly like the photos —very clean, cozy & had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We really appreciated the welcome note & snacks too. It’s located in a great spot that is quiet & peaceful, but still an easy drive to downtown Ellijay (grocery, restaurants & shopping). We had a great time hiking on a nearby trail, visiting some local wineries (Roo Mtn was our favorite), and exploring the beautiful scenery around Ellijay & Blue Ridge. Such a great place to relax & unwind. We highly recommend Blissful Point & would love to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay and the first night a bad storm came through. The next morning after checking the place for any damage and picking up some the lawn chairs that got disbursed I notified the owners and they were do appreciative

What an oasis Callie has created! So glad we chose The Schoolhouse for our weekend get-away. This beautifully decorated home was so cozy, a true comfort from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We felt at home in the beautiful Georgia countryside. Could go back time and time again. Callie’s attention to detail has preserved its history and tells a story in every room.

We had a wonderful stay, and would rate this as one of the most peaceful, places we have stayed. The home was very clean, modern and had everything we needed and more. The hosts were so amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home- which we absolutely did! I have already recommended this stay to several of my friends and look forward to coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

This is a great little house close to the lake for a getaway. The beach area was really quiet during our stay and is a short walk from the house. Just be warned, it is down a path with a section that is fairly steep, so may be difficult to carry all your lake gear to. The house was very clean and well stocked including a range of toys for multiple age groups which was a huge amenity. My only critique is the upstairs air conditioner (located in the master bedroom for the whole upstairs) did struggle a bit to keep up with it being hot and humid. The second bedroom was a little warm even with the box fan provided. Overall though, this was a great vacation getaway rental.

We loved staying here! We were so close to down town Woodstock which was great! The house was clean and cozy and the hosts were responsive and helpful with everything.

Second time staying at the property and my dog loves it! The yard is great and the cabin super cozy with all the amenities you need for yourself and your furry friend.

We came in for a fishing tournament on Lake Lanier, this house was perfect to park a boat and get a great nights rest. It was convenient to several boat ramps as well as plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend staying!

The cottage was great, it was very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The alpacas grazing on the property was a bonus. The location is close to hikes, several wineries, etc. Tina and Jay were gracious hosts. We had a lovely time!!

Will was an amazing host, very proactive on communication. The place was gorgeous, we were sad that we couldn't stay longer than one night (due to our schedule) because it just was the cutest little vacation spot. We do plan on coming back and staying longer next time. Thank you so much Will for everything!

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

Just everything at Don's place was remarkable, from the friendly greeting by the Co-host, Shelia, the ease of check-in after a tiring trip from Florida, the spotless cottage, the beautiful and comfortable furniture and the gift basket of goodies, including wine, cheese, cheesecake, fruit, crackers, and stocked refrigerator full of special treats like steak sauces, barbeque sauce, catsup and mustard packets, jellies, pizza, Texas toast, and breakfast sandwiches. You will also enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood only interrupted occasionally by the call of the rooster down the street. And the incredible pasture behind the cottage, the firepit, the back porch - just an absolutely amazing place and perfect getaway, a home away from home in the mountains. It doesn't get better than this. And our two chihuahuas agree. They loved their walks around the cottage on the grassy grounds and being back inside the warm cottage, watching TV with us.

We really enjoyed our stay here! This is up there with one of our favorite places we stayed at. We told the host that we would arrive late at night and they left the porch lights on for us to make it easier for us to locate. They also stayed up late in case we had any issues getting in. We had no issues whatsoever our entire time we were there.

It was a great place! The kids loved the firepit and the outdoor area—and surprisingly, the steep driveway became one of their favorite attractions. I also appreciated how few pre-existing issues there were, which I always look for after a past experience with an owner trying to blame damage on us. Normally, I spend at least 30 minutes documenting everything; here, it took maybe 10 minutes. Nothing took away from the stay! The cabin was quiet, cozy, and perfectly tucked away between McCaysville and Blue Ridge. Michael even set out wood and kindling for the firepit, which was a thoughtful touch. And the water… oof, chef’s kiss. Coming from the city, I couldn’t get over how good it tasted. If I could’ve brought jugs to fill, I would have! There was plenty of space and lots to keep the kids entertained, both inside and out. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time in the riverside cottage. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fireplace made cool evening cozy and the kitchen was nice. We loved sitting in the sunroom listening to the water.
