Cottage holiday rentals in Georgia

The location was great. It was far enough from Chattanooga that I felt like I was away from the city but close enough to downtown that allowed me to do everything I wanted. Easy access to the highway.

We had a wonderful and peaceful trip at The Mad Hatter! The home is exactly as described and just downright awesome. Our hosts were super organized (which I love) they have everything mapped out for you. They gave us local recommendations and saved the day when a last minute work call was added to our schedule. Wonderful house, hosts and location! Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Such a fun little spot right in downtown! My husband and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here and just loved being able to come and go on foot as we pleased. Hot tub and sauna were a great little bonus after all the walking and eating haha

We had a great stay over Christmas. We come back here usually twice a year to visit family and friends. The ability to bring our dog is a huge plus. The place is very comfortable, clean and nicely stocked. Dale continues to update and maintain inside and out.

This house is located in a tranquil community that offers hiking trails and many water activities. My family enjoyed the hikes, deer sightings, water bikes, and hot tub the most.

The place has a very nice look and feel. We enjoyed our stay, just wish the weather allowed us to use the hot tub. Overall nice area and good communication with host.

We loved our visit to Molly’s house! The house itself is in a great location, close to downtown Savannah, grocery stores and shopping, and a lovely walk by the river. Molly’s house included everything we could need and she was a lovely host. We enjoyed the screened in patio, even in Jan, and the comfy couches and beds. We had a great time on our vacation and definitely recommend Molly’s charming house!

A great place and enjoyed our stay. Personalized note and bottle of wine found for us at arrival. All Airbnb's need to be more transparent about add on fees such as taxes and cleaning fees. Such fees always catch me off guard after booking versus booking a nice hotel. Its a five star place and enjoyed our stay ;')

My stay was wonderful! The house is exactly as shown in the photos—modern, peaceful, and fully equipped with everything needed to cook, stay in, or even enjoy a bonfire with s’mores. The garage is incredible—I loved the vintage touch in that space. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home. One feature I really appreciated was the option to watch movies without having to log into my own streaming accounts. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property… inside and out! We enjoyed our second stay at Rick’s cabin and will return when we next come to Dahlonega! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but only a 5 minute drive to wineries and the Square.

Two of our friends had just gotten engaged and one of them had to fly home to South Africa today so we wanted to do something special for her last night in GA, and Tybee Island was the perfect spot to do that! It was definitely cold but going during the off season was such a unique experience! We got to explore the shops without any crowds, and sing karaoke with the locals at a bar in town. Matthew’s home was the PERFECT stay for our night. Amazing location, beautiful private backyard for my golden retriever to run around, and my friends loved that the bunk room made them feel like they were at an old vacation home from their childhood. We were so thankful this spot was available last minute and Matthew was so quick to respond to my questions! We already are planning to return for a longer weekend in the summer!

Dorothy's place is a marvel. It is spotless and beyond fully furnished with a kitchen equipped to the max with any utensil one could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable and quiet and I slept better than usual. This adorable little cottage is set back from the road, and apart from the host's house. If the weather had been warm enough I would have enjoyed the pretty, screened-in porch. Dorothy was proactive and responsive, although we were very busy and did not get a chance to meet her in person. This was a wonderful place to "come home to" from our spectacular sunset boat tour at the Okefenokee Swamp, ready to sink into a movie on any number of available streaming apps available. This little cottage is a class act and I hope I can stay here again.

Great place, the house was just like the pictures. Jekyll Island is very quiet and laid back, would definitely stay here again. Our dogs love the back yard and the short walk to the ocean.

We had a lovely stay here, there are a lot of state parks close by and the town of Dahlonega is really nice. We really enjoyed Jethros coffee in the town. We ventured out to Apple orchards and other nearby towns such as Helen and Gainesville. We went to Dawsonville for a Christmas parade which our 3 year old loved. The home itself is very cozy and well kept. Sitting on the patio with a coffee is very relaxing. Only criticisms would be that the bed upstairs is really creaky and feels unsteady. There were neighborhood dogs barking and howling for long periods of time that does kind of disrupt the peace but that’s not the fault of the host at all. Overall 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay in the Gazebo. It's a very cool building in a private area and made for a great couples' weekend getaway. It's clear Elaine has gone to great lengths to ensure a warm, comfortable experience.

Great place! We only stayed a night but would love to come back for a longer stay. Hosts were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and so convenient! Our daughters loved the horse swing outside and the games and puzzles inside.

We decided on a last minute trip from Florida to Ellijay, GA because of 3 inches of snow that happened up in the area…. Which is RARE for this area!! My wife, daughter, & niece all came with us and ended up being an absolutely wonderful experience!! We had a simple front wheel drive car so we had to park up the hill and walk through the snow down to the cabin but we made it into a fun experience and even used the top of a 27 gallon Rubbermaid container into a sled to go down the hill LOL The cabin itself was magical with the wraparound windows spanning the living room viewing the spacious deck, to the widows over the hot tub, and the front door with full window panes and windows on all sides of it…. It was a full spectrum view of winter in all of its glory!!! The beds could not be more comfortable and a efficient kitchen that was perfect for my wife to make all 4 of us fresh baked biscuit, scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, and a plate of various fresh fruit!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Me and my husband sold are place bought some land and buying a trailer to put on are property. We were looking for somewhere to stay that was like home tell are trailer gets built and set up .This place meet all are needs and some i would highly recommend so beautiful and peaceful. My husband loves to fish it was to cold but we will be back to visit for the fishing in the future.

We loved this place! It is such a beautiful and peaceful location. Everything was perfect! The cottage is great and the property is amazing! My husband loved the fishing and I enjoyed reading on the dock. Hope to be back soon!

As a nature lover and writer, I’m always searching for quiet places that inspire creativity, and Dogwood Cottage was exactly that—a peaceful, secluded escape where I could slow down, reflect, and recharge. The little walkway with the overhanging sign felt like stepping into a storybook, and the well-lit pathways added to the cozy, welcoming ambiance. The porches overlooking the quiet woods were perfect for soaking in the stillness. But my favorite part? The backyard fire pit, glowing under twinkling string lights—a truly enchanting spot to relax. Jeneane’s attention to detail and warm hospitality made the stay even more special. I already know I’ll be back—this place is pure magic!

This place is the place to stay! Beautiful surroundings, plenty of things to do right there, wonderful hosts, clean in and out, and loved the way the home is decorated. Out of all the places we have stayed, this by far has been our favorite so far. PERFECT. Thank you, Jim and Barbara for making our experience a happy memory.

Stayed at Sandra's place while visiting family in Rome ,which is about 20 minute drive away. Home was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable located in peaceful rural setting. Enjoyed seeing the animals in pasture. Was a pleasure to meet Sandra and husband. Our visit was in last week of December ,hope to visit again in future when landscape is in bloom and pool is open.
