The Blacksmiths Shop, Dean Farm, Isle of Wight

CarlyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We stayed at Nicky’s place for a week and it was just perfect for us. On arrival it was spotlessly clean and had a lovely feel to it. The beds were really comfortable with lovely bedding. The kitchen is well equipped and I made a couple of meals there. There isn’t a huge amount of space to store food so if you are looking to cook I wouldn’t bring more than a couple of days worth of food. It was perfect to whip up breakfast though and a couple of pasta dishes. I would definitely recommend eating out though as the local restaurants were fantastic and we particularly liked the Spyglass in Ventnor, the Fisherman’s Cottage in Shanklin and the Cow at Tapnell Farm. The location is great and Ventnor (10 mins away) and Shanklin (20 mins away) were our fav places to visit. The coastal road along the south of the island was also a beautiful drive. I would highly recommend Nicky’s place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay on the Isle of Wight. I would definitely return. Thanks, Nicky 😊

Grange Farm Static caravans

EmmaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Stunning location, great for our families. Boys loved being right on the beach. Beautiful coastline and sunsets all just out the window. Caravan was as described and generally in good condition. Pleasantly surprised by the space of the main living area. David and family were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lots to do close by and the Tandem cafe in Brighstone was walkable/cyclable from the campsite and welcoming with tasty food. Pearl cafe also good. Our boys didn’t want to leave and we will definitely be back. Thank you for providing such a fab base for our holiday.

The Old Farm Shop Cottage

LucyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Old Farm Shop. It was in a lovely location - you could explore lots of beaches and also walk from the doorstep in to the countryside and to the sea. It was clean and tidy and had all the things you would need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a great extra! Susie and Sarah were super responsive and helpful. We had a really lovely time, thank you.

Ranch style living....close to all attractions

BethanyRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We had a superb stay at The Orchard bungalow. Such beautiful accommodation and set in a perfect location to explore the island as everything is a short car journey away. The accommodation was clean, spacious and bright and felt very homely. We went with our 4 year old and my parents and loved the open plan living. There was plenty of space to do things as a family or grab a quiet moment in another part of the house. The rooms were well appointed and nicely furnished. Having so many en-suites was a real bonus. We took advantage of the on-site restaurant on the first night which was so handy after travelling. We also used the riding centre and booked a pony pamper and short horse ride for our daughter which was a fantastic experience us all and the staff were amazing! Great trip and we’ll definitely be back!!

The Little Barn (Wightbarn), Isle of Wight, UK

KatrinaRating, 5 stars32 months ago
What an amazing place! Such a peaceful setting for really getting back to nature, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only minutes from the islands beautiful beaches and attractions (you will need a car if you stay here to make the most of the island). The Little Barn is clean, spacious and flooded with light, and has everything you could possibly need for a family stay - it was ideal for our family of four. We loved exploring the grounds, discovering local wildlife, eating the honey that was left for us (made by Susan and Richard's own bees) and drinking the local Mermaid gin! Susan and Richard could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, checking we had all we needed and giving us tips on the local area whilst giving us the space to enjoy our stay in peace - despite being next door, we barely knew they were there. Some of our local highlights were Compton Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, The Garlic Festival (every August), and the walk to St Catherine's Lighthouse. The perfect wholesome family holiday - we hope to be back one day!

Hucklesbrook Farm, Fallow Cottage, The New Forest

LeeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely two-night stay at Fallow Cottage in the New Forest. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Deborah was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even provided a Go New Forest card, which got us a discount on bike hire—a great bonus! Her lovely dog was also a real treat to meet. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

Converted barn perfect for families and couples

Warren AndrewRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Our host Lisa was incredibly friendly and helpful from the start, providing us with loads of great recommendations for local restaurants and activities including plenty of fun things to do with the kids. The cottage itself was amazing so cozy and full of charm. Our children especially loved the adorable piglet décor, which made the place feel even more special. Everything was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the appliances you’d need, whether you’re staying for a weekend or much longer. The outdoor garden space was a real highlight large, peaceful, and with stunning views over the surrounding fields. There was also a huge field where the kids had loads of space to run around freely. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended!

Hawthorn Farmhouse

JennaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A really wonderful stay - the best Airbnb we have stayed in! The farmhouse had so much space inside and was well-equipped with all the essentials including lots of dishwasher tablets, plenty of trays and pans for cooking wland more than enough toilet rolls in all of the bathrooms (it's rare!). The beds were super comfy. Our toddler and dogs loved the garden and there was so much parking available - enough for 5+ cars. Lots to do within driving distance. Our favourite places were Lymington and Christchurch. A two minute walk across the road to a farm shop too that sells proper coffee at £3 - a real treat! We really enjoyed our holiday, thank you!

Near Goodwood cosy cottage with vineyard view

TraceyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This was the perfect short break in a cracking location. My teenage daughter and I did some lovely walks, sat at the windmill at sunset, sketched at the ruined Abbey, went to Chichester for lunch via bus. Everything was just so easy and the house was impeccably clean, with beautiful quality furnishings and a really welcoming feel to it. We loved it. Thank you!

Stylish 3 bed High St mews flat with 2 car parks

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved the flat - spacious, stylish and comfortable with a south-facing outlook across the higgeldy-piggeldy rooves of Lymington and a distant glimpse of the coast. The cafe in the courtyard below served a great breakfast and staff were lovely. They're not open in the evenings, so there was no issue with noise. Great to have free allocated parking. Nicola was really helpful- swapped out all of the feather bedding for us allergic types, and the directions and instructions were very clear. Lovely to have a welcome gift of shortbread (and milk in the fridge). Thank you very much 😊

Beautiful rural lodge with stunning country views.

JamieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We enjoyed a delightful two-week Christmas stay at this charming lodge, complete with festive lights and decorated trees. Christina, our host, was very responsive and provided clear directions for finding the lodge with ease. The lodge was perfect for my elderly mother, myself, and her senior cat. Its central location on the Island made it incredibly convenient for visiting family members in Newport and Sandown. The tranquil farm setting offered a peaceful retreat, while the well-appointed kitchen contained everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals. We loved the spacious shower and comfortable living room with its cozy log fire. Individual electric radiators in each room kept the temperature just right. The combination of comfort, location, and thoughtful amenities has made this lodge our absolute favorite. Without a doubt, it will be our go-to accommodation for all future family visits to the UK. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

The Granary at Kemphill Farm, Ryde. Isle of Wight

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. As a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children) the space was fantastic. Every bedroom was really spacious and an en suite in every room was a fantastic bonus - no queues for the shower in the morning! Ron and his family were friendly, really helpful with recommendations for places to visit and extremely reasonable when it came to 4 noisy children running around in the morning! Every amenity you could think of was available - cots, bed guards, BBQ equipment, the works! I would highly recommend to anyone with a large family wanting a peaceful and beautiful location to stay on the Isle of Wight.

Kiln Cottage

KatherineRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We have been to the island many times, but have always stayed in coastal locations. This is the first time we stayed inland, and it was fantastic. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. It was so warm, cosy and quiet we barely noticed 'Storm Bertie' blowing outside. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed the brilliant games room. Thank you very much.

The Coach House Farm Lodge - Family & Pet Friendly

SophieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Aleksamdras place was 10/10, no faults. The place is an adorable out of they way lodge, that still has the Victorian feel to it. All beds were super comfy, it had a great hot shower. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was excellent at responding to messages and assisting with an early check in. We even did a tour of the fram! We got to see all the animals and pet the goats! The lodge is about a 15 minute drive from Fishbourne ferry terminal and around a 7 minute drive to Ryde town. I highly recommend this place is you want a homely, comfy stay at the Isle of Wight. Thank you! xx
