Monthly Rentals in Isle of Raasay

Felt like home. We stayed at Braes Retreat for four weeks and we loved every minute. The location is great for travelling around Skye as it’s pretty central but it still has that quiet isolation that most people come to Skye looking for. The house has everything you need, it’s very clean and comfy and Iain and Ingrid are great hosts to help you out with any issues. As all the other reviews say, the garden is spectacular, the views are beautiful and it’s generally a really lovely place to stay.

I had a really lovely stay. The property is very cosy and has everything you need. The breakfast basket, milk and butter in the fridge was a lovely touch and much appreciated. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this property. Thank you very much Angela!

If not the best, one of the best AirBnB we stayed in. The place is absolutely amazing with a stunning view. It is the definition of peaceful and cosy. You can find a collection of CDs and DVDs which is a cute back in time moment but there's still a way to Bluetooth and cast on the TV. Remote working there is also a good experience with the a decent internet (14MB/s) and a large window giving into the bay and cute birds using the bird feeder in the garden. The kitchen is well furnished. The location a bit out of the city center is perfect. Local supermarket and great restaurants are within quick walking distance. Superb stay. Thank you

Wonderful break. Explored as much as we could but had some snow so also enjoyed Portree on foot. Recommend you book restaurants. We drove the Quaring. Saw Neist Point in glorious golden hour. Lovely walk to Coral Beach. Visited Skye candles and drove down and saw the Highland Coo's. Recommend walk from house round headland. Great views looking back at house ans Portree. Parking- we didn't struggle getting a space in front of house all week, in November. Co-op 3 min walk was really handy and well stocked. Highly recommend. House cosy and views from house and garden beat any TV!
