Elisabeth’s place is a great haven in Kiserian. The place is calm, quiet and incredibly peaceful. The house feels like home with everything in place; from the comfortable living room, the cosy bedrooms, the well-equipped kitchen and best of all, the natural surrounding full of diverse trees, flowers and birds for the nature lovers. The privacy accorded to the guests is also something we appreciated during our stay. This is a place I would go back to at the next available convenient time.

This is the most beautiful AirBnB I've stayed in.. Words cannot describe the peace and beauty of the nature surroundings, and the old-world elegance of the home. The pictures don't do justice to how large the house is, and how beautiful. You must experience it for yourself. It is a 2-story villa, with the bedroom and master bath (including the old-fashioned bathtub with a stunning view) upstairs, and the kitchen, dining and living room downstairs. The roofs are makuti (thatched palm leaves), the furniture is solid wood, and overall the house has a feel of a private safari lodge. Not to mention the fireplace! The price was well worth the quality - one might even say it is under-priced compared even to much more modest accommodations in Nairobi. The terrace with the view of Nairobi National Park on its own is priceless! On our first morning, we saw a rhino, and had daily sightings of giraffes, impala and others, and heard a lion roar one night. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

I can’t express enough how sad I was to leave this place. I feel bad for every other place I will visit because I will feel the need to compare it with Anselm’s house. This place is magical, a slice of heaven, so quiet, so serene, so beautiful. The view is immaculate. I loved every second of my stay. We’ll definitely be going back.

I loved John's place, it's warm comfortable and adequately furnished. James the caretaker was very attentive and a available. If you love nature this is the place to go for beautiful views and surroundings.. it's so peaceful. If you are hiker there is an interesting and scenic trail to venture to... You need a 4WD or Study high car for the 12km rough road to the house. Will definitely visit again... Thank you John and James for your warm hospitality.
