Holiday rentals with a kayak in Inner London

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything you could possibly need, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Whether you're exploring local attractions, dining out, or just enjoying the surroundings, this spot truly has it all. The hosts were simply wonderful. From the moment I booked, they were communicative, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering great recommendations and even little thoughtful touches that made the experience feel extra special. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy furnishings to the well-stocked amenities. This was a lovely place in a beautiful setting outside of London. Jeremy welcomed us nicely with his wonderful dog Billy and he was around to help with whatever we needed. With public transport it’s a bit tricky to get there, but with an Uber it’s easily doable. Staines is at about 30min walking, where you can catch the train to london, get good coffee and brunch.

One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Incredible location, clean, spacious, well equipped and the boat made it a very fun experience. Lara was super helpful and made sure we had all the information we needed and also showed us how to operate the boat when we arrived. The welcome gift of wines, biscuits, etc. was a very nice touch and made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for space, beautiful views of the Thames and a unique way to experience London. Will definitely be back!

Linda’s AirBnB was amazing. In fact it’s going to make bookings in the future difficult as they will have to live up to this one! Linda greeted us personally when we arrived, in the rain on a wet and windy night, and gave us a tour of Tamanzi and made sure we had everything we needed. The houseboat itself is fully featured with everything you’d need for a weekend or longer getaway. It includes a sauna, four poster bed, bath, shower (which was not quite working when we were there but Linda has had sorted since) as well as a hot tub which is extra. All of that means you can use Tamanzi as a base to explore all the surrounding areas (we went on a 15 mile circular walk along the Thames and back through Bushy Park) or just relax on the outdoor decking and feed the ducks. Depending on your circumstances it could be seen as pricey, but you really really get what you pay for and we’d definitely go back when funds allow.
