Monthly Rentals in Idanha-a-Velha

A week of rest and quiet! The house is equipped with the necessary for 4 people(we were 3), and the air conditioning made all the difference, on the hot days we had! It has an outdoor area with barbecue and large table in the shade, where we ate all the meals. In the area has good river beaches (Meimão, our favorite; Meimoa and Benquerença),and places of great interest to visit: Monsanto; Penamacor; Belmonte; Idanha, .. San Martin de Trevejo in Spain, etc. António Fidalgo is a very cultured person with interesting conversations. Always attentive to needs. We really like it and recommend it!

Monsanto is a wonderful place to visit, and Sunset House is an amazing experience in its own right. The House is just as it appears in the photographs, but the photos don’t really do justice to the actual experience of staying there. My wife and I have stayed in some wonderful Airbnb’s, but Sunset House is one of the best we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Eloísa is a great host. From her communications pre-arrival; to meeting us at the car park with her micro-electric car to pick up our luggage and show us the way to Sunset House; to bringing us a delicious breakfast each morning; and to providing us with home-cooked soup on our second evening, Eloísa made us feel welcome and at home. Monsanto is a fantastic place to visit … if you’re thinking of going then do so. And if you do, stay overnight at Sunset House … you won’t be disappointed.

For those looking to get out of the city, such as my case and my girlfriend, the Pastor's House is ideal. A beautiful view with so much surrounding nature was what we needed. A special thanks to Rogério for the hospitality, sympathy and the will that he conveyed to us, and for having indicated places to visit. 5/5 ⭐️

Sandrine and Julien were excellent hosts, attentive and responsive ot all of our questions. They have built a beautiful Dome haven for visitors and we were happy to be able to stay in such a special construction. The dome was spacious and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our November stay. We would highly recommend and will definitely return ourselves.
