We loved our stay at this farmhouse near the Lake! very roomy and clean and well stocked for our group of 7. Easy to coordinate travels around Umbria and Tuscany, and we loved exploring the Lake towns, especially the Castiglione del Lago center! Easy to follow instructions for house operations, access and directions! We loved the decor, and local ceramics, and the great reading selections- fun library of history, art, cookbooks, and local travel ideas. We loved having downtime and the tranquil area amid pastured and horses; my kids took advantage of sunny weather in early April and did watercolor painting and naps in the sun amid the olive trees in the back yard. It was a little too remote for walking to town (the ruts in access roads were hard on our car, and road construction nearby made for minor inconveniences,) but all in all, a perfect place for our holiday!

My stay was perfect here. This is the perfect place for peace and quiet. Alex & Vittorio were perfect hosts, providing everything I needed and kept in contact throughout in case I needed anything, with recommendations & even gifts of wine and figs! Alex even went out of his way to come get me from the station. They're all very kind & helpful with everything. The accommodation was comfortable and completely charming; a perfect getaway especially if you're traveling the surrounding areas. There's even a very sweet cat that likes to sunbathe on the staircase- a very enjoyable feature for me. The train-station & grocery store are not too far away at all & there's even a bike rental in town which is great for touring around the lake. I highly recommend making the trip & staying in this little peaceful paradise.

Great place to stay! Very nice and well-kept complex, in a quiet environment with lots of nature, ideal for a stay with a dog (well-developed circular path around the lake). Extraordinarily comfortable bed, extensive and practical equipment, light and friendly, sparkling clean. Very friendly communication and reception. For us a perfect stopover, rural and at the same time close to the highway.
