A quiet and welcoming homestay although the location is a little out of the way but very comfortable.There is a burner in the door in the winter when the weather is warm, Mr. Yamane is kind and gracious, helps to share nearby attractions and restaurants.Because the weather is cold early back to the inn borrowed the kitchen and boiled the hot soup is really great, recommend everyone's quality house.

We had a great time enjoying the winter wonderland at Mariko’s cabin! A great getaway from busy life in Kansai. The view from the bathtub was beautiful too. The best part of the property (and the reason we chose it) was all the green space on the property that our son got to enjoy. PLUS it was only a 40 minute drive through the mountains to go see Mt.Daisen(大山)🏔️ All in all, a great trip!

The house is very spacious and consists of 2 toilets and 1 bathroom. And the heating was good, so it was nice to stay in the winter months. If I have a chance next time, I'm grateful that they made such cozy memories that I would definitely want to visit again. I highly recommend it!

It was Oyama-cho, Tottori City, which was quite far from Sapporo, but I was really impressed to come to this building! This is an overwhelming building that has nothing to do with access. It was a rare design in Japan that recreated a true traditional Nordic home, and it was a mix of inspiration and overwhelmingness.😭 It's a real Nordic home, not a Scandinavian.🏡 It was really nice to be able to touch the nostalgia, as if I had returned to Denmark, where I lived, and I was able to come here. You don't really have to come in this cozy space. The courtyard, dotted lights, and furniture and appliances are also very well thought out. The private room provided for guests is also really cozy, and it's great to take a bath with a view of the outside forest landscape from the bathtub🛁 In addition, I was very happy with the kind hospitality and attentiveness of the two hosts.☺️ Also great drip coffee made with hot water from the wood stove. I also enjoyed hearing a lot of architectural stories and memories with previous guests. I want to come back. Thank you so much🍀
