We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was perfect for a family of four. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were pristine and super comfortable. Joy was very responsive. The location was perfect for accessing Harlow Town Train Station and walkable to the town center.

Kirsty is a very responsive and proactive host. She was very kind,diligent and suggested the best flat for my needs from her property portfolio. The property is very central in Hemel. It’s minutes away from buses, restaurants and the heart of Hemel Hempstead’s shopping centre and cinemas. It’s also ideally situated for walking trails and extra shopping in Watford or Berkhamsted. The house is very spacious and a very comfortable setting for friends and family. We felt at home immediately. The bedrooms are all a good size and the table and crockery was sufficient for our party of 9. The house is tucked away so it was quiet and felt private. However, there is a tyre repair garage located in the same small drive off the main road. This did not cause us any issues as the house and garden face on to the drive at right angles so there was no noise intrusion nor annoyance as a result. The small town is a short walk away and we were fortunate to find that on a Friday in the lead up to Xmas they close the high street and offer a small market and fayre in the street. The locals all seemed exceptionally friendly as were all staff in the shops and pubs locally.

We had a great stay at Daniels place. We were a family of four and there was lots of space. We loved the pool table and the hot tub. Thank you for the fridge essentials provided. Great directions easy access and the village was really nice. Enjoyed a nice walk along the canal, also the local shops including a nice deli cafe and wine shop. We walked to the station and got the train in to London for the afternoon ( 27 mins in to Euston) We also visited nearby St Albans. Would recommend this place, the location and the host who was always quick to respond to messages.

The property was absolutely fantastic. Loads of space, 4 great double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a wonderful Gym in the garden. Kitchen was fantastic with every amenity that you could wish for. Had a slight issue with the heating on check in, but this was really quickly sorted by the hosts were was always at the end of the phone and rectified it very easily. Would love to visit again in the summer so we can make use of the hot tub and all the other amenities. Its a perfect location as well for London and the surrounding areas, and the house is in a lovely quiet cul de sac. All in all a fantastic house and fantastic service from the hosts.

The house is wonderful for its age, character and history. We really appreciated the library and all the quirks and general history of the house itself. Some of us went on a quick trip to All Saints Church cemetery in Edmonton to see Charles and Mary Lamb's graves ... because the house provoked an interest to see and know more. It has many quirks - but these are so well explained by the hosts - so you know about them before you come. The character and joy of the house totally made up for the quirks. Size was great - for our family group of 7 it was ideal - plenty of space to eat and hang out and individual nooks and crannies where people could do their own thing.

This is a really beautiful, well-equipped house with a spectacular garden. It was a really lovely place to stay and we were sorry to leave. We unexpectedly had to extend our stay at short notice, and Helen was incredibly helpful and responsive, for which we were very grateful. Highly recommended!
