House holiday rentals in Herne Bay

Our Family (2 Adults, 2 Children 5y & 3Y) had a fantastic stay. The location was quiet and close enough to everything. Beautiful Walking track 2 mins from the front door which feels very distant from the city location. The Pool, which is the perfect size for the property, is great for the kids and deep enough for adults to soak in, it also feels very safe with the fencing. The kid's rooms are perfect for children up to their teenage years and the master bedroom is comfortable and has a good view of the backyard (Tramp and Pool), allowing you to relax from inside and watch kids outside. Off-street parking is covered and easy to access and the living area and kitchen are all nice and family friendly. Thanks again for hosting us and we look forward to returning one day.

We had a three night stay at Malina's house and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect and within 5 min walk to the main Mission Bay bars and restaurants. Malina and Rod were both highly responsive and provided suggestions and also helped rescue us by lending us two international adapters for our devices. The house is beautiful and as shown in the photos. Modern and clean and the standout has to be the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Our kids spent every afternoon in the pool area and loved it all. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Mission Bay area.

My family and I had a great time at sams airbnb. Check in was easy, house was clean and felt right at home. We enjoyed the pool along with the ping pong table downstairs in the garage. Lastly, the Nespresso machine was amazing, we used it a lot. We will definitely be back, thank you for having us

House was beautiful with amazing views. Both the pool and the hot tub were wonderful and the beach was short (10 min) walk. the kitchen and grill were great cooking and we loved all the Polish pottery! Overall, great location and house for our family.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were travelling with our 1 and 3 year olds and Natalie’s place was perfect. The pool and trampoline, and a little pack of fun things Natalie put together for the kids, kept us all happy and feeling very much at home. The house and yard are even nicer than the pictures, and the location is amazing. Thanks for everything.

Our family enjoyed such a lovely holiday in this lovely little oasis. The home was bright and clean and airy, and the pool and patio area were sparkling, quiet and relaxing. Our family of four stayed at many beautiful places during our month-long holiday in New Zealand, but we all agreed that Lisa's lovely home was our favorite. If we ever have the opportunity again in the future, we will definitely chose to stay at Lisa's home again!

Great weekend escape with pool and indoor outdoor flow to enjoy the sunshine and chill space later with the easy outdoor gas fire. Modern kitchen made for easy self catering but also close and walkable to great restaurants and coffee spots. Having an ensuite for each bedroom always a win. Comfortable and ample space for all.

We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

We had a fabulous four nights at Dom’s place for a small family reunion. The accommodation was perfect with lots of great social spaces and also places to be private. The stand out was the deck with amazing bush views and a hot tub. Dom’s communication was great with clear instructions and regular check ins.

Great accommodation. We had a sports team of ten players stay across two of the three units on this site. Beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities great and just a 15 minute drive from our venue (Bruce Pulman). All in all an excellent stay.

Perfect little weekend getaway for my husband and toddler(2). The house was a great size and we thoroughly enjoyed the indoor fire with the cold rain outside! We visited nearby Crystal Mountain & Kiwi Valley- great places for the kids.

very quiet and peaceful place. Donna was lovely. She even took my daughter to feed the chickens in the mornings and gave us some fresh eggs. It is a 2 bedroom home very private and with everything you need. Thanks Donna, we felt like home!

Our family group of three couples found this stunning Westgate home perfect. The layout worked extremely well for us. Location was perfect and would have loved to have stayed longer. We give this home a 5 star rating.

Awesome location, restaurants, cafes, parks, bus/train and supermarkets nearby. Lovely and private house, clean and felt very relaxed. We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Auckland! Tanya was so sweet, kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The check in was easy and detailed, ensuring a smooth arrival. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions we wanted to see, and Tanya even shared some fantastic restaurant recommendations. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. Having 2 bathrooms and 2 showers made mornings much easier for our family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had a great night’s sleep. Tanya also kindly offered to store our luggages for us to accommodate our needs, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay and highly recommend this place!

What a gem. This is by far the best AirBnB experience we have had. It is like staying in a five star hotel but in a secluded, beautiful part of the world. The house is stunning and the location is amazing. Our first day had a bit of rain and it was so nice being able to relax in the incredible space that Nikau Estate provides. The rest of the stay had perfect weather and we made use of the pool and outdoor areas. The communication was terrific and the whole experience was 5 star. We had our 2 kids and their spouses and a newborn. The house was perfect and we had bedrooms to spare. We stay in alot of top hotels and we had honestly burnt out a bit on holiday rentals due mainly to overly "optimistic" photos, and onerous departure/cleaning requirements. Well not so with Nikau Estates. Very simple cleanup for the kitchen and an incredibly high standard of property. We will definitely be back and we thoroughly recommend.

We loved our stay - definitely my favourite Airbnb of all time! We felt at home from the moment we arrived - the house is so well equipped and really spacious. It's in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, but close to everything you could possibly need - including beautiful Long Bay beach. Naomi was an excellent host, so helpful and responsive :) Thank you!

Cole's place is a stylish, spacious home with great living space and a beautiful outdoor patio/garden. The location is super. A short walk to Point Chevalier beach for swimming and less than 15 mins drive to the city centre. The jacuzzi is a bonus!

Well appointed home, located a short walk to the beach in one direction and the quaint Howick Village in the other. Well hosted and clean. large space for for pets too.

Lovely, comfortable stay with plenty of room. We were a bit unsure at first because the owners live in the rear part of the house but we had all the privacy we needed, no issues and very thoughtful hosts. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Liz's place is a jewel. Super nice and quiet area, with a small park to go running at walking distance and very close to a bus station. We had an amazing time cooking and spending time in the kitchen and back yard. Liz is super friendly and would recommend her to anyone. The house is easy to find and the instructions are very clear. Absolutely beautiful space, really loved that the place had all the things required to cook food. We had a long stay and it definitely felt like a home away from home. It's close proximity to the beach made for lovely runs in the morning. Already hoping to book again on my next trip back home with the family
