Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hermanus

We had a great stay. Cornelia and Schalk were excellent hosts. Lovely large beach house with sheltered patio area and great firepit. Highly revommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it ideal for daily walks. The house itself is in excellent condition, with a modern and stylish interior. Everything provided was of top-notch quality, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The real highlight, though, was the beautiful enclosed garden. It offered a peaceful retreat where we could truly unwind, and the kids had an amazing time playing among the trees. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a well-deserved break and a chance to relax in a family-friendly environment.

Great sea views. Quiet. One suggestion. A vacuum cleaner! In a two week stay one would want to vacuum and wash floors a bit😊 And maybe a note with emergency numbers. Thank you we had a great time.

Sue’s place was an absolute dream. It was as clean as a pin, was cosy and welcoming and the garden and courtyard were a hit with the kids. Sue’s communication was outstanding and we are very thankful for the lovely stay. Highly recommended!

The house has an amazing view, interior is also quite nice to hang out. The balcony is so big you can do 20 people barbecue!! Amazing place, beautiful views. Will come back.

You welcomed us with open arms into your home and made the stay even more amazing for my 2 year old daughter, from toys to the sandpit and all the snacks for her. We had an amazing stay, Prieur is a great host and always available to assist. The space is very well equipped with a lot of attention to detail. If staying 2 mins walk from Voëlklip beach, having a barbeque with a view of the beach, dining under an avo tree, showering under the stars and listening to birdsong is what makes you tick then this spot is the perfect choice. No hotel comes close to what is on offer here. In a perfect word we would like to find peace and rest here on a more regular basis. Thank you for making it possible.

A few friends and I stayed at Roderick's place for a long weekend, and we had an incredible time. I highly recommend it to anyone exploring Hermanus or the surrounding area. Our highlight was hanging out in the wood-fire hot tub and braaiing right next to it, under the stars. The place had all the amenities we needed, and was close to the restaurants, wine farms, and run routes we wanted to do. We can't wait for our next visit.

We were very happy with our stay as it was lovely and peaceful. The secure and shaded parking was an added plus. It was a short distance from the cliff path and an easy walk into the centre of Hermanus. We much appreciated the little extras and the presentation of the towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed, pillows and linen deserve a special mention as they were so comfortable to sleep in. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Even though the property is in quite a suburban street, the moment you walk through the garden gate you feel you have entered a woodland away from streets and houses. We loved sitting up on the top balcony watching all the bird activity taking place at tops of the milkwood trees. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Lorraine’s place is a quaint and charming cottage very close to the beach with its own personality. Lovely setting under the milkwoods and we spent almost all of our time outside. It is well equipped with everything you need for a low key, unfussy stay. It is decorated in her own style with lots of little art pieces and trinkets all of which I feel have their own story. Lorraine was an excellent host - always responsive and helpful. Thanks Lorraine it was great

We absolutely loved our stay! We went for my mother's birthday for a weekend and would've loved for it to be longer. We had everything we need. Adrian and his family had a file with information about the area with a list of the amenities which was so useful! We would love to come back again. 10/10 stay! Just be aware that some of the trees (Milkwood I believe) in the region have a foul odor to them. This caught us off guard but wasn't all that bad for the entirety of our stay - we just closed the one sliding door closest to the tree near to the home.

We had a lovely time at the cabin. Although the house was smaller than expected (based on the wide angle pictures), the four of us immediately felt at home. We were also a bit surprised that the cabin is located between many other similar houses since we somehow expected a more solitary place. Nevertheless, since it was not holiday season, we enjoyed some very quiet days in the green. The lagoon with its birds and wild horses are stunning and are a really special place. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved every minute of our stay, the only problem was it was only 3 nights.. way too short. The extra special touches went a long way, hand made local treats, lovely amenities, latest kitchen appliances, comfy bed, small bbq… it was perfect. Mike is an amazing host, very knowledgeable about the area and always available. We cannot wait to return, was sad to leave.
