Secluded riverside location , Herefordshire

DevonRating, 5 stars52 months ago
The location is stunning, out of the way and very conveniently close to a fantastic local pub with great food (without being too close that you can hear/see it). The annex itself was amazing and felt very homely with lots of attention to detail which I appreciated. Really friendly hosts with quick response times and very accommodating. Although I travelled for work I would throughly recommend the stay for a quick getaway - it made me crave a holiday!

Pretty cottage in idyllic lakeside Wyeside setting

JuneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our break was the perfect choice. A beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings, so peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed for our break, clean, cosy ( didn’t want to leave). Peter and Fiona are the perfect hosts, were so helpful to me in communicating my queries even before our break. Very accommodating while we were there, on hand if we had needed anything ( we didn’t as everything was covered) but they were not intrusive either. Loved watching the pigmy goats and sheep, and sitting by the lake with a cuppa in the morning was like Heaven. Will definitely be back next year. Thank you for a much needed break June Scott

Very nice property, lovely and quiet, close to town centre.large kitchen living room and conservatory, big bedrooms but lacked hanging space. The access to river is by a private garden so we didn’t go down to it.Siobhan was communicative prior to our arrival. Great Goytre Farm

SarahRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was my first time staying in an Airbnb with the hosts and it worked really well. We were really made to feel welcome and were able to use the common spaces without any issues. We are a ladies walking group and the best things for us was the fact we had a room each and could cook in the kitchen and relax in lounge.

Barn on a farm, private room with dark skies.

MagdalenaRating, 5 stars42 months ago
Where do I even start to describe this amazing place! It completely exceeded our expectations.. it's our first ever stay in this type of accommodation and I must say it's so much better than a boring, generic hotel stay.. You can't beat the service and personal touches at The Tallot's. Place is absolutely stunning! Attention to details with fresh flowers and décor is truly heartwarming.. there's a charm of a traditional countryside cottage, with Sam's DELICIOUS homemade welsh cakes in your room and also a luxurious finishes with a high quality toiletries, towels, bedding and refreshments.. so much better to what you find even in a 4-5 star hotels! We did have a continental breakfast included in the price. It wasn't just a simple piece of toast.. we had a great selection of yogurts, cereal and granola, freshly chopped fruit, seeds, toast, fresh croissants, local jams and freshly brewed coffee in the cafetere.. all candlelit and the nice relaxing music played in the back ground.. you can finish your coffee outside, sat the swing and watching a sheep from the distance.. Evenings were my favourite where we could sit outside, at the fire pit and enjoy the glass of wine.. It felt more like being at the 5 star spa rather than a barn! haha If you are looking for place to unwind and rest from the city this place is perfect for you! It's also plenty to see in the surrounded area.. with a lovely walks and trips to the local villages.. Sam and Gary were a wonderful hosts and we are looking forward to coming back again!

Contemporary with an Art Deco Vibe

AnnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely incredible stay at grahams place!! Such a stunning house with so many amazing special touches! Loved the jukebox, pinball machine, record player, hot tub! Amazing view of the river Severn from the rooms - even saw a Severn bore wave! So kind of Graham to leave us a few bottles of bubbly to enjoy! Very responsive host, extremely easy check in/out - even facilitated early check in AND late check out! Loads of useful bits in the kitchen, tonnes of clean towels! High quality bedding, comfortable beds. Private, quiet location, with nice walks along the river. Shetland ponies, donkey and horses to see in nearby fields. Nice little pub down the road only 2 mins walk away. 10/10 for everything! Could not have asked for anything more!

The Weir House, Symonds Yat with river view

AlayneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Weir House, Symonds Yat was the perfect venue for our family celebration. The accommodation was even more spectacular than the website pictures! Greg welcomed us into the house on our arrival and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. The Saracens Head Inn next door meant the area outside the house was quite busy but the seating area in front of the house is set above the main thoroughfare, giving a more private viewing point of the beautiful River Wye landscape. The Inn is definitely worth visiting for the food and drink. The area is renown for ramblers, dog walkers and river sports but the Weir House is also the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.
