Monthly Rentals in Hemley

We had a lovely time at Rockhopper. It is warm and cosy, the beds were extremely comfortable and the appliances are very modern. The kitchen/dining area is large and very attractive with lots of light coming in. The sitting room is cosy with a large TV. It was fabulous being able to walk to the pub within a minute and we loved the walk along the river and particularly to go out to see the sunrise over the water. Megan is a very proactive host, allowing us to go in early because the cottage was ready early and helping us by organising something we left behind to be sent on.

What a joy staying here! The ideal base for exploring Suffolk, I’d recommend to anyone. This place is such a gem. So many small details that make you feel welcomed, easy parking, the space feels private and peaceful, and so clean with all the amenities you’d need. Annabel was so helpful too, we can’t wait to stay here again. Lovely local walks and nearby pubs but we stayed at the Airbnb more than we thought as we loved the space so much! Thank you Annabel <3

We had a lovely time and were very lucky with the weather. A great base for cycling – the village is about 20 minutes ride from the local train station. Beautifully decorated small cottage with all amenities – everything you might want, including basic supplies kindly left by Claire. Very comfortable. A small garden where we could eat outside; all quite enclosed by a high hedge at the back and side, and overlooking the village street at the front. Lots to do in the area, Felixstowe a thriving and pleasant seaside resort, Claire a thoughtful, flexible and considerate host.

This is our second stay and we’d highly recommend Jasmine Cottage- it’s beautiful and really well equipped. We were lucky to get to spend time in the sunshine in the garden this time too! It’s walkable to the town for nice shops, pubs, bakery/deli etc and a lively walk along the River Deben. Thank you for a relaxing break away!
