Monthly Rentals in Hawksbill Mountain

Great place to stay for hiking Shenandoah! About a quarter mile from white oak canyon / cedar run trail head, and under a mile from the old rag trail. Perfect place for a weekend stay. The cabin was a little run down and a bit dirty, but that was expected given its woodsy location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything that was needed. Very quiet and great location for hiking. Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a great getaway for a romantic weekend. It’s a quiet area and we were able to spend time at the winery drinking great wine. It was nice and quiet and the winery staff were very helpful helping us find where we were staying and answering any questions we had.

we loved this little cabin! the location was beautiful and idyllic and the house was tidy and had everything we needed. it was about an hours drive from some of the hikes we wanted to do in shenandoah national park (hawksbill, whiteoak canyon falls), which was a little farther than expected, but the views were gorgeous along the way! the house was very close to the town of stanley so we were also able to get everything we needed at the food lion. overall loved our stay!

Just what we needed for a restful, peace-full stopover midway to NJ.. a literal breath of fresh air. Spotless and comfortable, it was nice to hear nothing but bird song.. a respite from the noise of the work week. Gratitude in abundance to our hostess for the thoughtful attention to every detail.. just a pleasure!
