Beachfront holiday rental in Harbor Island

The Salt Box beach home was one of our families best Airbnb experiences ever! Everything about the home exceeded our expectations and made the week truly feel like our own home. Communication was excellent and we had the added bonus of Christmas decorations to enjoy in our post-Christmas vacation. The location to the beach was perfect and we highly recommend not being afraid of a beach vacation over the winter time.

The place was as pictured, walkable to the beach & restaurants/shops at the boardwalk. The kitchen was well stocked & the pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay.

Amanda was great and responded quickly to my messages. She provided great instructions on how to check-in and out.

Oceanfront--direct walk out onto the beach, sunrise and coffee overlooking the ocean while sitting on the top deck, restaurants, shops, & pier close by-- we couldn't have asked for more. Our host-- Rob, was communicative and responded quickly. The townhouse was clean and well-stocked with the essentials needed to prepare a meal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful views right on the beach! Loved listening to the ocean waves & watching the incredible sunrises! Kate's home is nicely decorated with very comfy sofas & plenty of seating for our group of 7 and room for more. Comfortable beds in all the rooms. The decks were wonderful with lots of seating. Everyone in our group loved this home! We visited a couple of days after an iconic snow and the steps were cleared of snow & ice. The home is in a convenient location. Kate was very quick to respond when I couldn't find our code to check in & was accommodating for other requests. Kate's home will be top of the list for a warmer beach trip!

This was the best Christmas my family has had. We had such a relaxing time. The home was warm and cozy but spacy. It was really chilly so we spent most days inside watching movies and painting a giant gingerbread house. We walked to the lake and looked at the lights on Christmas night. Took the kids to the lake memorial park. We truly enjoyed our time together.

It would be hard to beat this location and the expansive deck. It was quiet, no neighbors on either side, and a great fenced in area for the dogs. I’m not sure you could get this close to the beach without spending a lot more money. This is a great value, and we were quite sad to leave. It really began to feel like home and was quite comfortable The host was extremely responsive and polite, and immediately addressed a very minor problem. We will definitely return as soon as possible!

Mikes home WAS a little piece of paradise. The home, yard, parking and amenities were BETTER than described. We were pleased with the private outdoor sitting at Mikes beach. The appliances were top shelf. The kitchen had everything we needed. The doggie gates were priceless. The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The house was very clean. We liked having a washer and dryer. We enjoyed our time on the back porch. The views are amazing. Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was the perfect peaceful time we needed.

Wonderful quaint peaceful condo. Felt very comfortable and pretty views. So close to restaurants and bars and beautiful walking path right out the door. The hosts were beyond amazing and attentive, especially since we arrived Christmas Day!

PROs -Chad was super communicative from the start. -Easy beach access and close to many great spots -Place is as described and well stocked for what you could need. CONs -The place is a bit hard to find in the dark as all the surrounding buildings/units look alike. -The unit itself is on the bottom floor. It can be quite loud due to people on the floor above. SUMMARY We loved it and enjoyed our time here. 100% would recommend!!

We loved Mark’s apartment with both views for sunrise and sunset. We had everything we needed from the beginning and Mark was easy to reach throughout the stay. This spot will stay in our top choices to rent. Thank You for providing a great place to vacation.

Great location - right on the ocean & super clean. We loved: waking up to sunrise & having dinner to moonrise everyday. Everything was clean & we had everything we needed. Parking was easy and always available. A swimming beach was a short walk down the block - but due to the high tides the beach itself was very small. Freeman Park is a short walk up a few blocks-it was a beautiful place to walk on the beach. Super quiet since it’s on the top - 3rd floor- of the building. We hope to return next year. Thank you for your hospitality!

This home had EVERYTHING you need in the kitchen and then some, including enough dishes and silverware to have a dishwasher full and still have enough to serve eight people. All the cookware needed. Everything was spotless. Working night lights in all the bathrooms was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and the host was terrific! Six stars out of five!

This place is hard to beat on Wrightsville Beach if you're looking for an ocean view, easy beach access, and premium parking. An ideal setting for our family of 4. The balcony overlooking the beach is roomy and amazing for watching the sunrise. Several restaurants and shops are under a 5 minute walk, and grocery store a 5 minute drive away. We plan to return!

Jim and Nora were excellent hosts. They communicated so quickly. The condo is soooo clean and comfortable. Being a sea turtle lover, I felt very at home with the decor. This condo is so very close to the beach and made it so convenient for us to just go whenever we wanted. We brought binoculars and were able to see the comet each night right from the deck. The deck has an ocean view and a great place to sit and relax with coffee in AM and wine at night. We were lucky to have great weather. It was off season so Jim and Nora let us in earlier and let us leave later. What a great weekend at a beautiful place that had everything we needed! The hosts were so welcoming and generous! We will happily be back!

Even though I had to leave 2 days early thanks to the historical storm, I still enjoyed Chris and Bobbie's condo so much! I cooked dinner for the other 3 guests with me and EVERYTHING I could have possibly needed was right at my fingertips! All the beds were very comfortable, the master shower was amazing, the decor throughout the condo was perfect! I can't say enough about the beautiful view either! I'm going to try again in the spring and if this condo is available, I will definitely book it! I highly recommend this wonderful property/unit! Chris and Bobbie are great hosts! Thanks to you both.

Easy to get into. A nice private area. Beach access was great as the access is right across the street. Great outside seating areas upstairs and downstairs which we enjoyed. We have one maintenance issue in one bathroom but the management was very responsive and had a maintenance guy out there the next morning on a weekend to fix it which was also the weekend after 4th of July. We rented the place during the busiest time of the summer and the beach was not too crowded. Plenty of space. The outside hot and cold showers behind the house were also very convenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. We were two families with young kids and teenagers.

Beautiful location right on the beach perfect for any family getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beach bungalow. It was well stocked, clean, easy access to the beach, and a beautiful view. The host is very friendly and will definitely answer your questions promptly. Hopefully will be back soon!

We had a great time! This air bnb is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen has everything needed to cook as we cook almost all of our meals. It was a short walk to the beach, easy for kids and super close to the canal and we were able to put our kayaks in. The beds were all super comfy. The outdoor shower was a plus to wash all the sand off when getting back from the beach. They had a ton of beach stuff too! We are already planning our next stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb . The location is unbeatable - just a short walk to the beach. What truly set this stay apart was the attention to detail from the host. It was the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

We had a fantastic stay at Dawn's condo! The location was amazing and Dawn was extremely helpful and friendly. The beach outside the condo is gorgeous, and we also enjoyed walking across the street to the Veggie Wagon and lake. We also loved sitting out on the spacious deck, enjoying the views. Parking was definitely tight for our large SUV. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

We were in town to celebrate Christmas with our 3 kids and 2 grandsons……… it was very cold while we were in town so we didn’t get outside as much as we usually do, however it’s a gorgeous spot! So close to the south end which we love! The house was very homey and comfortable for all of us! We will be back!!! Crum Family

This was our second time staying at Sandi’s LunaSea and we had an equally marvelous time. The proximity to the beach - I can watch and listen to the waves from inside the space - is unbeatable. It’s the absolute perfect spot to rest and recharge.
