Amazing place in the middle of a tea plantation. Very peaceful and tranquil. They Airbnb was very well equipped and the staff are lovely, you never need to leave! They picked us up free of charge from Ella station and left a free cake and happy honeymoon written on the bed. They really went the extra mile. Shame the pool wasn’t heated but an amazing stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Everything was perfect. Anjelo’s lodge is lovely, and Keerthi and wife very helpful and courteous.

The cottages at the river view were so peaceful, with the sound of water running audible from bed. It was a very peaceful atmosphere. Our hosts and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful the entire time, and the food they served at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, perfect after a long drive. This place really is a gem a bit off the beaten path.

Lasithas brother Damit and the rest of the crew were the most kind and helpful people! We found Ella town too busy and noisy for our taste but thanks to the incredible staff we got a memorable experience anyway!

Staying at Mashita's place was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The tranquil ambiance truly allows you to unplug and rejuvenate your senses. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! Hosts truly elevated our experience. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their impeccable manners and genuine care for their guests made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find such a gracious host, and we're grateful for their warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay.

sujee is a superhost ...he and his family look after the place very well . his wife prepared a lovely meal for us for lunch.. it was really sumptuous and gave us a taste of the local cuisine.. he is very friendly and accomodating and made us feel at home.. we had a lovely stay and a great Jungle safari starting right from his location

I had an absolutely fantastic time at this extraordinary cottage in Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived, the communication with the host was seamless, starting with clear directions that made finding the place a breeze—even though I arrived just before midnight. The host's warm welcome and attention to detail immediately set the tone for an incredible stay. Throughout my visit, the host went above and beyond, preparing traditional Sri Lankan meals that were not only delicious but also gave me a true taste of local cuisine. The hospitality extended beyond just meals; they also offered invaluable advice on nearby tourist attractions and transportation options, making it effortless for me to explore the area. The cottage itself was a charming blend of comfort and authenticity, nestled in a serene setting that offered a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle.

Arawe Retreat is simply fantastic. From the beautifully appointed accommodation, to the attentive yet relaxed staff, to the tastiest food in Ella. We really had the best time here. Just a short Tuk Tuk from the busy centre of Ella, Arawe retreat provided an oasis of nature focused calm which was hard to leave. Ishanka and his team really have got things just right by creating the retreat around the existing nature and enhancing it. The wildlife noise at night is really something to behold and helps you drift off into relaxed tropical dreams. Huge thanks to Ishanka, Chaggar, Suren and Dashan.
