Very nice authentic place to stay in Nakatsugawa. The house is exactly as described and can be seen in the pictures. Especially if you are going to walk the Nakasendo trail, this is highly recommended. Please note that it is an authentic house which can sometimes be a bit cold in winter, fortunately there is a heating in the living room and each bedroom.

The host is very polite and generous. He gives us ice cream, soft drinks and most of all oranges from his own tree. Above all, the place is very nice. It is quite big space, clean and luxurious. It is also equiped with complete amenities and beautiful garden. Perfect for family gathering. Communication was OK, although we speaks in different languages. Very recommended place should you bring car by yourself.

It was a very nice old house. Everything is clean and easy to spend time in. Projectors, board games, and more It was very convenient! We have all the dishes, condiments, It was also easy to cook. We'd love to stay again if we get the chance!

The variety of fresh groceries and the low price of the nearby supermarket was excellent, and I enjoyed cooking many times in the large kitchen that I could open the cooking class.The firepower of the stove was strong at the restaurant level, and there were plenty of kitchen utensils, so I was able to make whatever I wanted to make.Dare to say, a salad spinner, tongs, and gold scrub would have been perfect.
