House holiday rentals in Halifax Harbour

Cj was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful house filled with so much to do, pictures don’t do it justice.

I booked this place after looking so many places and when I told the owner about why I am booking this place they were extremely helpful and provide everything what we needed for stay even the place has its own beauty like my whole family loves it they don’t want to go but we will definitely book this for over next vacation. I really recommend this place to everyone.

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

Luxury with a view awaits you at this beautiful house in the hill. Even in the winter, the views from the rooftop hot tub are breathtaking. Very cozy and spacious, and the host thought of every little detail to make our stay special.

We frequently travel as a large group and are used to splitting up due to our size, so finding a place that can accommodate all of us is a challenge. Melanie and Thomas went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and we couldn’t be more grateful. With 17 of us staying under one roof, you’d never guess there were so many—it was that spacious! The house is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen essentials to speakers and pool toys. Melanie and Thomas are truly the most kind and welcoming hosts we’ve ever encountered. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—just book it! Next time, we’re definitely staying for at least three nights because we weren’t ready to leave!

WFP &J.P were amazing. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an extra unexpected. Gustave will be very bored of Maple. Small review THAT IS NOT A REVIEW. The fridge isn't very big so don't do too big a grocery every time. We arrived with too many things and didn't get in. But again, it's no big deal. There's a grocery store nearby. Sounds good. Just don't have to plan too far in advance if you have a big family like mine. The pool is extraordinary!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches . We had a great time with the family!!!

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

Helen’s place was exactly as pictured plus many more lovely additions in terms of available supplies and even food items! Helen emphasized how everything in the apartment was for myself and guest to use, making us feel right at home and very welcomed. Parking is easy and steps from the main entrance of the unit. This is a very spacious place with comfy beds while also being only a short distance from the bustle of downtown Halifax!

Ashley’s place was amazing, stayed here with 9 other people and had a great time! Awesome location and so beautiful! Would do it again in a heartbeat ❤️

A beautiful spot in downtown Halifax. The rooftop hot tub was a nice bonus! Jay’s check in/out instructions and house rules were clear and communicated in a friendly, respectful manner. Would definitely stay again! :)

We stayed at Anni's place for just over 2 weeks waiting for our home we purchased to close. Anni and her husband were amazing hosts. Very accommodating and responded to messages right away. Space was very clean and a nice open concept living room, dining room and kitchen area. Loved having the wood stove going in the evening while relaxing in the living room. Would highly recommend for a short or extended stay.

Very spacious for family activities, with cozy quiet spaces also. Large, well stocked kitchen great for the holidays.

Brooke (host) was very resourceful and caring during our vacation on her property. We happened to overlap our stay with a windy ice storm, during this time we were unsure if we would be able to get home due to the road conditions on the property. When we brought this to Brooke’s attention, within the hour she had someone come and salt the entire length of the property road - when salt was hard to come-by during this time in NS! The property is beautiful and right on the water, which is already a reason to come stay on this property - however, knowing that your are working with a genuine host who cares about your stay makes all the difference. If you are considering booking this property go for it! You are in good hands.

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

After many days on the road, it was fantastic to park our motorcycles at the Red Roof and totally unplug. It is a gorgeous, peaceful location ...... just soaking in the ebb and flow of the bay was perfect and Phil was a great host....we highly recommend!

We've stayed at this Airbnb multiple times, and it consistently offers a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The space is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, with a stunning ocean view that never gets old. It's a reliable choice for both short and long stays. Highly recommend!

This was a really stress free stay, Matthew went out of his way to make it feel like home, and was always helpful. Even brought a stroller for my toddler to play with. He was helpful and gave suggestions of things to do around town. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. I would definitely stay there again when I travel to Halifax again.

My mother and I stayed at Mairi’s place, and we absolutely loved it! The house is really unique and special, and we loved the layout! Loved that the results of books and games to choose from, lots of comfortable outdoor seating, and the area is beautiful Highly recommend, checking it out!

I truly believe we found this incredible home and hosts through greater powers guiding us during a challenging time. We needed a place close to the hospital with free parking, and this home was perfect- just a 5 minute drive away. The hosts were beyond accomodating, always ready to help and answer our questions. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference, even ensuring the driveway was shoveled and salted, which was such a relief. The home itself was immaculate and beautiful. During such a stressful time, having a peaceful welcoming space to return to brought us so much comfort. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated and felt like a sanctuary. We can not thank you enough for making a difficult situation easier. If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay, this is it- convenient, comfortable, and hosted by truly wonderful people. Me and my group had an amazing time at Nalinies house! The place was super spacious and had everything we needed for all 6 of us for the weekend! Definitely well worth the price! I will be booking again for sure! 😁

It was great, clean, beds were comfy. Easy to find. Dog was friendly, there was a friendly orange kitty outside our window all evening.
