Everything was great. We liked the place and the location is great. For two people it's great. The center and the beach are easily accessible on foot and the car can park in front of the door. Mick and Brigitte are good hosts, very helpful, easily accessible and respond quickly to questions and messages. I can only recommend it.

Great location with even better hosts, I feel like we could have just went here without the slightest idea of what to do and still would have had a great time after your recommendations. The connection to Amsterdam is amazing from here and the train stop is very close. Thank you for the great introduction to the place, the little but very well thought out welcoming gift and the guidance on what there is to explore, I think I'm speaking for my partner and me when I say that we'd love to come again! I heavily recommend this place!

A lovely place for relaxing, right on the edge of the woods. The private bit of garden is a big plus. I came here for the third time and will definitely visit again.

The time in Tatjana's cottage was beautiful. Tatjana a warm host. You could enjoy the sun on the terrace and were quickly in the city, by the sea or in the dune landscape. Always happy to come back.

This house is lovely and magical, fully equipped with everything that’s needed to feel there like home. It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood and close to the nature. We really enjoyed the stay, especially the terrace! It’s definitely worth recommending.

We slept well in Frans and Kristel's AirB&B for 2 nights. Great beds, enough space to sit, nice bathroom. And if the weather allows it again later, there will also be outdoor seating area! The home is located on a side arm of the Rotte, next to the highway, but there is well insulated, you will hear the highway limited and it is not disturbing in the house. We ate twice (within walking distance) at Eetcafe het Keerpunt aan de Bergweg. From the house we drove directly into town with our bikes, within 10-15 minutes you are in the city center at R'dam Centraal. From there, you can cycle to the museum park with the special Depot and then south to restaurant Twenty7 for a nice lunch overlooking the Erasmus Bridge. From there, we cycled over the bridge to the Kop van R'dam, via the Hoerenloper to Katendrecht and via the Willemsbrug back to the center. For more info about the route, ask Kristel/Frans! (≈ 20 km)

This accommodation is beautiful. It is small but super cozy, we feel at home from the first moment. It has everything necessary and more, we were very comfortable. It's a hidden gem and we are very happy to have chosen this place for our holidays. Nel and Nico were super kind, pending that we were well and helping us with everything. The area is residential and very quiet, the beach is 5 minutes walking and is beautiful. We would repeat without a doubt, totally recommended if you want to visit the Netherlands at your rhythm.

Every detail, from the fresh linens to the little welcome treats, added to the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a lovelier space. For anyone looking for a cozy, clean and romantic place to stay in Alkmaar, this Airbnb is a fantastic choice. We absolutely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at Thomas’ garden house. This place was as described and really clean and welcoming. Perfect place as base when exploring that area. Would definitely stay here again. Thomas went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable, keeping in contact with ourselves ensuring we had everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Super nice hosts who provided precise information about check-in months before the trip. We felt very welcome, and our "fur babies" were also explicitly welcomed. The house is small, but wonderfully equipped and completely sufficient for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The house is in the centre of Bergen, very pleasant. We would love to return!

We felt completely comfortable with Anna and Norbert. The small coach house is very lovingly furnished and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly beautiful is the small garden area, which invites you to linger on sunny days. There you can see an amazing variety of birds thanks to several bird feeding sites – a real highlight for nature lovers. The location is quiet and just outside the old town, but with the bikes rentable on site, you can reach the central station in about ten minutes. From the coach house, Leiden and many other destinations in the Netherlands can be easily explored. A heartfelt thank you to Anna and Norbert for the friendly hospitality – we will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this charming apartment in Limmen! The place was not only clean, but also tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described and the quiet location contributed to a very relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking much easier for us. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us great tips for the area. Overall it was a very nice stay and we can highly recommend this apartment.

The owner explained us clearly how to get there. As we arrived earlier he let us take the bikes and let our things inside. The apartment is soo cuteee...He also sent us some info about good places to eat. When we left the last day, we forgot some cheese on the fridge and he kindly sent it!! I wouldn't mind to stay at this apartment again if I come back!!!

Had a beautiful stay in this amazing accommodation, the information posted throughout the home made settling in so easy. From the details of decorating to the provided kitchen and bathroom to the helpful hosts. Every detail was taken care of plus its downwind of a chocolate factory. :)

The week we spent at Jan's house was very good. Jan welcomed us and showed us the house; he's a very kind and friendly person. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, the house is great, clean and tidy, and we loved the bathroom.

Everything was great, check-in was very quick and flexible. Hosts were super nice. Two small shortcomings: the staircase leading to the bedrooms is very steep and has no railings. So if you are not good at walking, the ascent and especially the descent in the dark to the bathroom is very difficult. The automatic of the heater also did not work properly, you had to turn off and on instead of being able to rely on the set temperature. All in all but only two small negative points for an otherwise great stay

The house was very cozy and the size was perfect for 2 persons (would be also for 3 ). Beds were comfortable and there is also extra blankets available. Lucy was very friendly and offered also extra bed sheets when we asked for them. She responded always very quickly and is also a super sweet person. The house is located at peaceful area and the entrance is private, so it feels very safe. You can find supermarket and restaurants at walking distance. Free parking place is a little far (500-600 m) from the house, but it’s very easy to find. Thank you for hosting us!
