Coast/country farm house retreat

Set on an organic farm, this cute cottage is so peaceful and so close to everything - 15 minutes to Bells Beach and Torquay and Geelong. Set out in the morning and gather fresh eggs, pick some veggies or feed the horses and the cows. We can bring the pones in for brush. Plenty of toys and books and games for the kids, footy goals and a basketball hoop as well. So much to do or just relax in the serenity or take a stroll around the 22 acres with a glass of wine and watch the sunset.

The Shed

A very spacious light and airy one bedroom 'shed' on a small farm in Freshwater Creek. Quiet and peaceful. Wander round the 1.2km track looking for wildlife or jump in the car and go to one of the many nearby beaches for the day. Dogs are welcome but not allowed in the living areas. Our 4 dogs roam the property. Definitely not a stay for people afraid of dogs. Stable facilities and paddocks are available on request and for an extra fee if you would like to holiday with your horse

We had a wonderful stay at the Farm Retreat! The bungalow is massive and made us feel right at home. So much so it was sad to leave. Liz & Doug are really friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything just felt right. The peace, quiet and privacy were nice – so too were all the surroundings. This is the sort of place you stay and think "Yeah, I could live like this". Hopefully we get a chance to come back in the future :) Thanks again Liz & Doug!

A great peaceful stay ! The house was very clean and well looked after overlooking the olive groves. Although be mindful that you are right next to two other apartments (while not an issue) this should just be noted. Beautiful and relaxing and a short drive from ocean grove beaches

We stayed for a weekend with our two kids under 2 and really enjoyed our stay. Andrea's dogs were very friendly and calm and loved popping by the gate for a pat. The little enclosed yard was perfect for our toddler to explore and ride his trike around, and the house had everything we needed and was lovely and clean, we set up our own portacot in the corner by the bed. It had a beautiful outlook, very peaceful and quiet and we especially loved seeing the cows in the morning. Thanks Andrea for a wonderful stay!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was super peaceful and private, and was especially magical at night with the fire burning and a good book. Close enough to surrounding touristy stuff, but feels like you’re miles away from anything. I’ll definitely look to stay again next time I’m out that way.

We had the most peaceful stay at Blame Mabel’s Farmhouse. I love an aesthetically pleasing space and the attention to detail in the decor is so beautiful. Lighting is lovely and moody, linen is cosy, the bath and shower were such a luxury. The bed was comfy, the day bed in the window was heaven. We loved building our muesli for breakfast, what a great idea! It’s right next to Fairy Park and we plan to come back as a family and do some more exploring. Thanks for having us!
