The place was great, very roomy and clean; it would have been nice to have a BBQ on the premises, nice backyard area to have one.

We had the most perfect stay at The Beach Shack. Stunning views of Point Souttar from the charming, comfortable and very well equipped shack. Our host Jo was excellent! We loved it!

We were an extended family of nine and one dog - ages 4 to 70 and spent four days at Richard's beach house. We found it to be a perfect place for a relaxing, fun filled holiday. The location was superb - fantastic beach and landscape views from all windows - absolute beachfront with easy beach access was the highlight. Walking distance to multiple playgrounds, cafes and fantastic pub - Victoria Hotel. The configuration of the rooms was perfect for a large family or multiple families. Beds were clean and comfortable. Multiple well furnished living areas were great for group or individual relaxation. Kitchen is large and well stocked. It is exactly as described - a comfortable, welcoming, cosy, no fuss beach shack with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Huge yard and back gate access was convenient for our multiple cars and great area for games and recreation. Thank you Richard - we really enjoyed our time at your house.

Katie was a great host, being on the front foot with the comms a couple of days out to let us know all the details for our arrival. The property was well appointed, clean and serviceable. It’s in a great location and pretty much everything we wanted to do was within a walkable range. Best of all was the outlook over the park and ocean from the front patio. Nothing better than getting up in the morning, making a brew and sitting out on the patio and watching the world go by. Thanks for the stay Katie, hope to be able to do it again someday!

My brother-in-law and myself stayed here for a weekend, and loved the place. The location is peaceful and tranquil, surrounded by a sense of escaping your daily grind. The cottage was lovely, as described in photos, with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and cozy living area. We sat outside and chatted, watched enjoyed the stars, and enjoyed the services at the village. There were kayaks which we made use of, the creek on the property that we went fishing on, and bicycles which we took for a ride. The Lucky bay brewery was 4 mins drive or 11mins cycle away, and short drive to the main town. The place was spotless, and felt very homely, and we will hopefully come back soon with our families. Great place. Lovely home with three great bedrooms and a good place for kids. Also great coffee machine! Perfect location. Walking distance to the visitors centre and Friday night happy hour!

A terrific family home with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great living space. Beautiful outdoor entertaining area, fantastic for our kids and dog. Scott went out of his way to accommodate us, and has been very helpful throughout our stay.

A great stay, and our only regret was not being able to stay longer. The house was charming and well situated to local amenities and the Adelaide Hills. The house met all our needs and was a great return to spot after touring the district and going into Adelaide proper. Highly recommended and hopefully we will be able to visit again.

This place will not disappoint. Prime location. Close to the Elliot Hotel, the best bakery in the world and walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious and well maintained. Perfect if you have kids and need space. We are so glad we stumbled across this gem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The kids loved all the board games, you have thought of everything. We will be back!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful home, with everything we needed. Was the perfect location for us, giving us space from the city but close enough for us to visit. We have no complaints and would stay again, the property has a lot of charm making it feel quite special.

Very neat and clean. A few minor issues arose, but the host was great with communication and a very quick response - which was much appreciated. The parking situation with young children was challenging at times (street parking), but overall was a great place to stay.
