Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Grand Rapids

Bella Vita was a great host. The property was spotless. The home and backyard were lovely and relaxing. Very comfy beds and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and you could walk to downtown Douglas. A short drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Bella Vita was very responsive and accommodating. We have been coming to this area for many years and can honestly say this was the nicest property we have stayed at. We would definitely return to this property.

We stayed last week for three days. We were happy to be able to bring our dog along. The home was very clean and the location was very peaceful. We enjoyed the rainforest shower and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a screened in porch to sit outside and watch the birds and squirrels. While we were there, hundreds of sand hill cranes flew in to the marshy area in the river in the evenings. In the mornings some would leave but a lot stayed. It was interesting to watch their behavior. It was a stress free get away.

This home offers a very private experience for a multiple couples vacation. It has many bedrooms and en suite baths for many of the rooms. The house is very well stocked and the appliances are high end. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but we did use the fireplace in the back and in front of house which was nice for cooler nights. The basement has a pool table, ping pong and air hockey to keep kids busy. If you're a serious pool player, just know it's shooting in a basement and you will have to use short sticks they provide. I think you'll need your pool cue because I didn't see normal size ones but we brought our own so I didn't look around for them. All in all this was a very nice home with lots of space for a large group. You will need to drive to the downtown but it's only a few minutes away. Very nice home!

Frederick was responsive and helpful. The house was great. Comfortable and clean. It was the perfect house to sit around and talk with family.

What a lovely home - beautiful hard wood floors, custom artwork, ample space with clean bathrooms and bedrooms! I especially enjoyed the memory foam mattress and fireplace! I slept well and read 2 entire books relaxing in front of the fireplace! My son loved the proximity to the piers for fishing and I loved the short walk to the lake! We didn't have a single care while there .... We will be back!

We stayed in Craig’s beautiful house for a month. If I could give this 20 stars I would, the house is very spacious and comfortable. With a beautiful lake view. The kitchen & the pantry are my fave!! There are 4 bedrooms with each having their own bathrooms & tv’s. We had some company over and all felt very comfortable. The family room/ dining room had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We had a wonderful stay,Grand Haven & Spring Lake restaurants and bars are very close. Thank you Craig for your hospitality!

This home exceeded our expectations, it was better than the pictures. Very clean, very comfortable, well decorated, well appointed. We had 5 ladies for a birthday weekend and we were all very happy. Loved all the helpful hints and story of the home. Really well done, this was everything we needed at a home away from home. We really appreciated the later than usual check out time (1pm). Will come back, thanks!

Hosts were quick to respond and very flexible. House was great place for multiple families to enjoy and not feel crowded.

Quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of fun things; the zoo, DeVos Performance Hall, etc. Pizza place right next door which was convenient. Unfortunately there was road construction on the street when we stayed, but totally not Stephanie's fault. She alerted me as soon as she was notified and provided me with alternate parking for my stay. Great communication from the host.

Everything was perfectly as described! What a beautiful home away from home. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was divine, and the kitchen was chef friendly! Plenty of counter tops and a gas stove (that was a plus!) I wish I could have stayed longer. Close to grocery markets and restaurants as well as a park. Beautiful neighborhood. Very safe.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Ronda's place! The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the bathtub was a delight to use. It was a perfect space for a little weekend getaway; many restaurants and beach access within easy driving distance. There is not a ton of natural lighting, unless you leave the french door curtains open. I found having to compromise privacy for natural light to be a little disappointing, but I had a wonderful time. I would stay here again!

We loved staying at this Airbnb! It was very nicely decorated and homey feeling and the hosts really pay attention to details. We would definitely visit again and wish this trip was longer!

I spent three nights at Sara’s place. It was cozy, clean. with a comfortable bed and coaches. The kitchen was easy to use. Lovely views and relaxing location. I highly recommend Sara’s place.

This funky apartment was exactly as advertised. Great location, very nice amenities, easy to find and check-in. The location was great...10 minute walk to Heritage Landing where my music festival was located.

Great stay, the property is awesome! However, if you are looking for a stay where the host communicates quickly, this is not the one for you. They will respond, but all communication we had was off the Airbnb platform.

We enjoyed Ethan's home as a getaway for 3 couples who love to play pool, prepare good food, and sit by the fire. Ethan's stay has a very decent pool table, spacious kitchen, and the fireplace was simple to operate. A bonus was the hot tub, which fits 6, more comfortably 5. Everything was comfortable and as expected, with plenty of room in all the common areas. The living space was especially cozy. The iPad & speaker system on the main level was a nice touch. The outside area is quite private and functional with a grill and outdoor seating. Basically, we used all the amenities this property has to offer, and everything went smoothly. My only caution would be to mind the outside deck parameter after dark, as there is minimal lighting, and it was difficult to see the stairs and walkway leading to the hot tub.

A beautiful home in such a great location! Walking distance to downtown.

10/10 recommend this place for your next trip! The air bnb was clean and fully stocked with everything you could ever need for a fun pool vacation! We didn’t bring children on this trip, but you easily could! I noticed the house has a highchair, baby gates, toys, pool floats, and dishes for children and babies. So cool to see such an accommodating place! The pool and hot tub are incredibly beautiful and easy to use. Also loved how many sleeping spaces there are and how much room there is in and around the house for spending time with the people you love. This air bnb is also a 5 min drive to so many yummy local restaurants in downtown Saugatuck. My only regret is not staying longer!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the spa and pool table. It’s a fantastic place for a small group.

Impressive A-frame with a wonderful looking dining room in the basement with an electric fireplace plus access to the back yard. The kitchen was very well equipped as were the bath rooms. We loved hanging out on the massive blue leather sofa in the living room. The park within a short walk was a bonus for the dog. The house is within walking distance of Saugatuck although there is no sidewalk until you get to the roundabout. We all enjoyed your place.

Clean, cute, great location. Just a quick ladies weekend and this place was absolutely perfect. We are hoping to come back in the warmer weather to explore more! Our only hiccup was the battery on the fire alarms started chirping. I messaged the host and he responded quickly and had the issue fixed super efficiently. We were very happy with how it was handled and would absolutely stay at this host’s property again!
