This is the ideal place for a family gathering, or for groups of colleagues or yoga practicioners. While the kids play on the inhouse playground, the parents can cook or sit around the fire place. Or have some "me time" in their own large bedroom. With good weather you can gather in the large garden or around the private pool. Lovely guest suite in country villa near Cologne

We were in Cologne for FIBO 2025 and chose this accommodation. Admittedly: With about 40-50 minutes, it is relatively far away from the fair. The beauty: The bus comes almost right outside the door (3-minute walk). Lidl, 2 bakeries and a pharmacy are right around the corner. Very large and spacious apartment, with plenty of space (there were three of us). In addition, a large kitchen with all the utensils you need (including Dishwasher). Martina (host) was very friendly and helpful and also responded directly to questions. So: Had a very good time, great place and happy to come back!!

The place was in a beautiful historic building adjacent to the city gate. The two bedrooms are big and the bathroom is huge. The kitchen had everything we needed and Angela was very responsive. Some items to be aware of in case they make a difference to you (we would have still stayed there). The doorways are very low, I am 1.83 meters tall and I bunked my head a few times on the first day. Afterwards, I just learned to duck. But this is part of staying at a historic building that is over 200 years old. The toilet is also separate from the bathroom in an unheated space, which I was not aware of before booking. But we got used to it.

We stayed at Birgit & Christoph’s place as our first stop after relocating to Germany while we found a permanent place to live, & it could not have been a better start to our lives here. Birgit & Christoph thought of everything: tea/coffee, honey/sugar, & even scissors in kitchen show their care for guests. We had zero issues with appliances or water temperature/pressure, very fast and consistent internet, plenty of space for clothes and personal items, comfortable furnishings, & a quiet convenient location. Birgit & Christoph were friendly & welcoming, providing clear instructions during our stay & lovely recommendations for where to walk our dog, nearby shops, & more. They regularly provided clean towels & sheets, responded quickly to questions, & helped us learn the German waste separation and recycling system. They played a major part in making our moving transition so positive, arriving to our hosts but leaving new friends. We highly recommend a stay at their lovely listing!

Location was close to the small central market either a restaurant etc. Due to a incorrect translation of the Airbnb messaging, only one bedroom was ready. But the host immediately adjusted that. Good communication and a very friendly host. We were there by motorbike and the host offered her garage to park them during night. Very appreciated

What a lovely stay and location. We lived in Bonn for 4 years, so we are familar with the city. The location provides you with a real neighborhood experience. Taking the bus or tain was very easy and a short trip to the city center. We enjoyed all the extra touches, it was well equiped and energy efficient. The Wifi connection was strong enough for work and teenagers using it at the same time. The home is very cozy, but large enough to spread out. The outdoor patio was lovely for morning coffee and a glass of wine at night. Maria and her family are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home.
